Features and Enhancements ✨
Peer-to-Peer Participant Imports
The peer-to-peer Participant Import now validates your entries as you go, so you can fix flagged cells and see the error clear right away. Free-text fields such as country, ZIP, fundraising goal, and alias re-check the moment you click out of the cell, and system-checked items like duplicate email addresses re-validate when you change the value and again at import.
On the peer-to-peer Participant Import preview, some fields now become editable only when they apply. For example, Payment Type opens when the selected category has a registration fee, and Parent Registration opens when the Activity Role is set to Managed.
The Participant Import sub-navigation has been re-ordered in the peer-to-peer Constituents Control Panel navigation.
Other Enhancements
For organizations using Express Donate, your organization's "donation received" notifications now leave out the Anonymous and Opt-In fields and include an Express Donate disclaimer. So, the notification no longer shows choices a donor can still change on the confirmation page. Standard (non–Express Donate) notifications are unchanged.
On the Transaction Details Report, the Anonymous field is now blank for peer-to-peer GiftAssist line items in both standard and custom reports, so a line item no longer inherits the transaction's anonymous value. Non-GiftAssist peer-to-peer line items and Year Round GiftAssist line items are unaffected.
Fixes 🛠️
When you open Bloomerang Fundraising from the Bloomerang CRM platform switcher, the login now completes as expected instead of opening a blank page, so affected users can sign in.
In custom field options, special characters such as quotation marks and ampersands now save and display correctly, and the donor-facing form stays responsive so supporters can complete registration. For security, angle brackets remain filtered out.
Event promo codes now apply correctly on registrations with more than one package, and the total updates for every eligible package.
Embedded standard donation forms now render for donors instead of loading a blank page.

Features and Enhancements ✨
Self-Service Participant Imports for Peer-to-Peer Campaigns
You can now bulk-import your peer-to-peer participants directly in Bloomerang Fundraising yourself. Migrate active events, or easily re-register the same participants annually (for example, schools registering their students each year).
Any admin with permissions to manage constituents can use the self-service import feature.
Self-service imports create new participants and update existing participants without creating duplicates.
On the Participant Import page, you can download the sample .CSV template from the import page to review the columns included in the import.
You can review a preview of the import before completing it. Bloomerang marks potential import issues so you can fix errors proactively or choose to import validated rows only.
Review post-import summaries that show how many participants were created, updated, and skipped. When rows are skipped, download a Rows to Fix report of just those rows to correct and re-import.
Redirects for Closed Forms
You can now redirect visitors who try to view a closed donation form, or a closed or ended auction. For example, send them to your current giving form, homepage, or a thank-you page so they always have a path to support your mission. Visitors are redirected automatically and never see the closed form.
Standard donation forms: In the general settings for your form, turn on Redirect Visitors When This Form is Closed and enter a redirect URL.
Auctions: In the settings for your auction, turn on Redirect Visitors When This Auction is Closed or Has Ended. You can select Redirect Closed Auctions, Redirect Auctions That Have Ended, or both, and enter a redirect URL.
Fixes 🛠️
Donations submitted through the legacy transaction processor (Worldpay) now successfully send a receipt upon gift completion.
On the donation Confirmation and Receipt page, the semiannual recurring frequency now displays consistently as "Semiannually" and honors any custom frequency label your organization sets in the Form Builder, so the label a donor sees at checkout carries through to the confirmation and receipt. This applies to both peer-to-peer and year-round donation forms.
For standard events, event-wide custom fields that belong to a field group now appear once on registrant receipts and admin notifications instead of twice, and the duplicate entries no longer carry through to exports and reports.
Participant fundraising pages now load correctly instead of showing a blank page when a welcome quest is enabled but its steps are inactive.
When you edit a donation on a disabled peer-to-peer campaign and change who the donation is credited to, the participant search now returns results instead of loading indefinitely.
On peer-to-peer forms, a customized heading for the donor privacy options now saves and appears on the live form.
Mid July
Features and Enhancements ✨
GiftAssist
To help cover more of your processing fees, GiftAssist's Opt-in Donors by Default setting is now automatically enabled when you create, clone, or enable GiftAssist on a standard or peer-to-peer form. When the setting is disabled in standard form settings, a prompt appears to recommend you enable the setting so more donors choose to cover fees.
Bloomerang Fundraising App (iOS and Android)
When you check in a participant for your peer-to-peer event, the participant's target is now named Goal instead of Amount.
Fixes 🛠️
Donor Portal
The donor Giving Dashboard now shows the public titles for forms instead of the internal form names, so each donor's giving history is clearer.
Forms and Form Settings
New standard donation forms created with the New Form button now correctly include Text-to-Donate when your organization has Text Fundraising, so the feature is ready to use without extra setup.
On donation forms with a suggestion to make a donation recurring, the Add New Recurring Suggestion button now appears as expected, so you can add a second recurring donation suggestion.
When you refund an auction item and choose to return it to the bidder's cart, the item now correctly returns so you can reassign it to the next highest bidder.
Peer-to-peer administrator notifications now accurately reflect each donor's choice to hide their name or donation amount.
Payments, Fees, and Billing
The statements for in-progress fees now include returns from the previous month that are queued for your next bill, so the projected total matches what you'll actually be charged.
Reporting and Data
Fundraisers associated with recurring transactions now export to Bloomerang CRM, so your fundraiser reporting is complete and accurate for all gift types.
For organizations using the Bloomerang CRM integration, voided Bloomerang Fundraising transactions no longer re-export to Bloomerang CRM.
The Packages Sold and Contributions by Event data insights are again available for organizations using standard events to add to their organization Dashboard.
The Donor Summary History page now loads reliably for organizations with large history records, so you can review past donor summaries without errors.
In Peer-to-peer email statistics, the Bounced count now shows the correct number of bounced emails instead of repeating the Dropped count, giving you accurate insight into your email performance.

Features and Enhancements ✨
Quick Donate is a new kiosk mode that helps you capture in-the-moment gifts you might otherwise miss during services, exhibits, and events. Donors can now make a gift in just two steps: They select an amount, pay by card, and are done.
Request and Set Up Your Kiosk
You can now request a kiosk in Quick Donate mode by emailing [EMAIL ADDRESS — re-insert from original article].
In the Bloomerang Fundraising web application, kiosks in Quick Donate mode:
Appear with a lightning bolt indicator
Have a Quick Donate tab, where you:
Choose one restriction that all gifts apply to
Add up to five preset amounts
Optionally customize the on-screen wording to match your organization's voice
Accept Quick Donations on Your Kiosk
In the Bloomerang Fundraising mobile app (in kiosk mode):
If you use Bloomerang Payments, connect a Stripe M2 card reader so donors can tap, swipe, or insert their card. If you use another merchant, connect an IDTech reader so donors can swipe or insert their card. Tap isn't supported for IDTech readers.
Donors tap an amount. On the next screen, they insert, swipe, or tap their card.
A thank-you screen confirms the gift, then clears itself after five seconds so it's ready for the next donor.
Each gift is recorded as an anonymous, one-time donation tied to your chosen restriction. Because the kiosk doesn't collect contact information or ask donors to log in, donors don't receive an email receipt.

Features and Enhancements ✨
Pre-Fill Custom Fields on Donation Forms
You can now pre-fill custom fields on your donation forms by adding a few details to the form's URL. Build a link that fills in what you already know (tribute type, a campaign source, an event response) so supporters have less to enter and you collect cleaner data.
You can now pre-fill custom fields on both year-round donation forms and peer-to-peer donation forms.
You can now pre-fill any custom field type, including short text, dates, dropdowns, checkboxes, and multiple-selection fields.
You can now set a hidden field's value in the URL to attribute a gift to a campaign or source, without showing anything to the donor.
Custom-field pre-fill works alongside the pre-fill options you already use, such as giving amount and donor name.
Each field is matched by its reporting label, so a pre-fill link keeps working as long as the reporting label stays the same.
Donors can change any pre-filled value before they submit the form.
Enable Express Donate with the Recommended Settings Banner
You can now turn on Express Donate for all of your eligible forms at once from the Recommended Settings Banner on the Forms and Events page, so more of your donors get a faster way to give without you updating each form by hand.
Other Enhancements
You can now review form attributes and clone forms faster. When you clone a donation, peer-to-peer, or auction form, the Form Attributes step now shows only the attributes your original form uses and hides the ones that don't apply.
To reduce validation errors due to missing email addresses, email addresses are now optional on auction and event attendee imports.
Fixes 🛠️
If a recurring donation payment fails, the system now correctly attempts scheduled retries three days later, even if the payment failure occurs on the final billing date.
The Auction Purchased Items report now displays all rows correctly, matching the count and download results.
Within an event, you can now delete custom field groups without receiving the Invalid PartInfo ID error.
In the Auction Virtual Terminal, cash and check payments using payment processors other than Bloomerang Payments now process successfully for attendees without an email address.
Auction Mobile Virtual Terminal (MVT) registrations now maintain consistent billing data. Free tickets contain no billing fields or credit card names, while paid transactions include only the necessary postal code and country information for payment processing.
Donations in the Fundhub Live mobile activity widget now sort from newest to oldest instead of oldest to newest

Features and Enhancements ✨
You can now create printable checkout summaries for individual or multiple bidders from the auction Checkout page in the web Virtual Terminal. Runners and volunteers can use these checkout summaries at in-person auctions to group items before checkout.
For consistency, bank (ACH or eCheck) payments now show as "Bank Account" across Bloomerang Fundraising reports, exports, receipts, donor accounts, and forms on the web app.
You can now insert a
%ManageTicketsPageLink%tag in the auction email campaign editor. The tag adds a clickable link to the Manage Tickets page for easier ticket management.
Fixes 🛠️
When a ticket holder is refunded, voided, or marked as not attending, their seat is released back to the table and available for booking.
When you select a package on the Registration Setup page for a cloned auction form, the form now preserves the system Phone field's Required setting so it doesn't switch off unintentionally.
Admin notifications now trigger correctly for offline cash and check donations entered through the web Virtual Terminal on peer-to-peer forms using Worldpay.
To match the behavior of standard forms and allow offline donors to customize donation amounts, the "Other" donation amount option now always appears in the peer-to-peer web Virtual Terminal, regardless of Control Panel settings.
When you enable QR tickets for a peer-to-peer campaign and bulk-email eligible participants (including those who registered before you enabled QR tickets), participants now successfully receive their QR code emails.
To reduce customer confusion, only administrators can see the New Form button on the Forms and Events page.
On the Forms and Events page, the Create Form button now appears only for organizations with one merchant account.

June 9
Donors increasingly prefer to give on a recurring schedule, which is good for your organization—recurring donors give more over time and are easier to retain.
When you process a peer-to-peer donation in the Bloomerang Fundraising app, you can now set up a recurring donation schedule:
Select a recurring frequency. The same frequency options available for other form types in the app are available for peer-to-peer donations.
Set a start date for the recurring schedule. Optionally set an end date, or leave it blank for an open-ended schedule.
The recurring schedule links to your selected donation target—participant, team, event, or classification. You can change the donation target after you select a recurring frequency.
After you submit the donation, the in-app receipt and emailed receipt confirm the donation is recurring.
June 1
Express Donate is now available to all Bloomerang Fundraising customers who use a payment processor other than Bloomerang Payments, regardless of which package they have.
Apple Pay is now automatically enabled for eligible WorldPay organizations in Bloomerang Fundraising. No action is required. If your organization qualifies, Apple Pay is already active on your donation forms.

Features and Enhancements ✨
Create New Forms
You can now create a new donation, peer-to-peer, or auction form from scratch.
On the Forms and Events page, click New Form to start a fresh form.
To help you raise more, new forms use the latest Bloomerang-recommended default settings, but you can always change these settings.
To create a new form from scratch, you must be an account administrator. If you can clone a form, you also have permission to create a new form from scratch.
If needed, you can still clone existing forms.
Customize the Transaction Summary Report (beta)
You can now customize the columns in your Transaction Summary report so it shows only data that's relevant to your role.
In the Transaction Summary report, you can now:
Add columns to display additional fields.
Remove columns you don't need.
Drag columns to rearrange the order.
Column changes apply only to your view of the report and don't affect what other team members see. Your changes are saved and appear the next time you open the report.
Enter eCheck Payments Manually for Bloomerang Payments
To offer more flexibility during checkout, Bloomerang Payments now supports manual bank account (eCheck) entries for US bank accounts.
Donors and customers can enter US bank account and routing numbers directly instead of logging in to their bank portals.
Manual bank account entries are validated for correct formatting at the time of entry, allowing for immediate submission and validation.
Manual entry is available on all donation forms and in the web application Virtual Terminal.
Other Enhancements
Bloomerang Fundraising now collects UTM parameter information from donation form URLs. UTM parameter information is available in transaction details, report columns, and Report Builder, and can be mapped to Bloomerang CRM custom fields.
After you check in peer-to-peer participants on the Bloomerang Fundraising mobile app's Participants list, you can now view additional participant information or undo the checkin.
The participant details page on the Bloomerang Fundraising mobile app now shows the amount that a peer-to-peer participant has raised and their fundraising goal.
Fixes 🛠️
Cloned peer-to-peer forms now correctly align custom field requirements with visibility settings, allowing donors to submit forms successfully without encountering validation errors on hidden fields.
The Auction Virtual Terminal now allows the Pay Now option for bidders whose registration transactions were voided or declined, ensuring they can complete their checkout.
Seat assignments in the Auction Virtual Terminal now save reliably and update the user interface immediately.
Transaction details, auction receipts, and email receipts now exclude inactive records to ensure accurate payment totals.
Promo code start and end dates now save and display correctly after toggling and reloading settings.
Unassigned guest tickets from company donations now appear as "Guest of [Company Name]" in the Virtual Terminal to maintain consistency with donor records.

Features and Enhancements ✨
You can now bulk-enable GiftAssist across all donation, peer-to-peer, and auction forms at once with a new "Recommended Settings" banner on the Forms and Events page.
Fixes 🛠️
Text-to-donate (T2D) now sends the initial fulfillment text when donors text the keyword.
Auction and peer-to-peer forms created before the completion of Bloomerang Payments onboarding can now process payments.
Voiding a transaction now automatically marks the attendee as "not attending," and ticket resend attempts on voided orders now provide clear error messages.
Inventory counts for store add-ons are now automatically restored when an eCheck transaction fails or is returned.
Payment Terminal now displays specific error messages from the payment API, allowing you to troubleshoot failed payment methods without contacting support.
The "Personal Goal Achieved" email now sends when a registration fulfills the fundraising requirement, including when GiftAssist is part of the transaction and registration fees are included in the thermometer and goal.

Features and Enhancements ✨
Auctions
Several auction enhancements help you check in attendees faster.
If you select the At Check-In option in your auction settings, attendees now get a bidder number only when event staff assign them one at check in, even if attendees add a payment method or bid online. This also means bidders who aren't attending the live event don't get a bidder number if you select the At Check-In option.
The Virtual Terminal and Fundraising app:
When you check in an attendee who doesn't have a bidder number or payment method, and you select Checkin + Setup, you now manually assign a bidder number. You must enter a number that isn't already assigned to someone else.
In the Virtual Terminal, when you select bidders to bulk unassign bidder numbers, that selection now also includes bidders with bid or purchase activity.
You can now change an attendee's bidder number even if they have bid or purchase activity.
To view only attendees without bidder numbers, you can select the new No Bidder Number filter.
In the Attendees list, attendees without bidder numbers now appear last in the list. If you change the sort order to descending bidder number, attendees without bidder numbers now appear first.
In the Givi app:
If an attendee doesn't have a bidder number, and they tap the purple circle, Givi immediately shows the attendee's QR code.
Other Features and Enhancements
Giving+ customers must contact our Customer Experience team directly to add or manage outbound text, peer-to-peer, and auctions add-on packages to their Bloomerang Fundraising plans.
You can now link unique Facebook merchant accounts to individual peer-to-peer forms within the same organization. Different chapters or programs in an organization can route funds to specific accounts, and fundraisers created from a specific form link to the correct account.
Tooltip design is more consistent across desktop and mobile devices.
To improve accessibility, we updated the color of donation form text to meet a higher level of WCAG standards for contrast ratios.
Fixes 🛠️
For donation forms with event banners and the events list as the default page, invoice receipt links now direct registrants to the invoice fulfillment page instead of the events list.
The %EventFields% tag now correctly populates event fields on receipts for all events.
If no tickets are available for a public auction, and a registrant tries to register, the display message now shows the admin-customized text for Registration Closed Message from Event Builder, instead of a standard message.
If an auction has no auction items, the auction home page now displays event information correctly instead of showing a permanent loading spinner.
When a peer-to-peer participant shares their fundraising page on X and closes the "Share on X" window in the Welcome Quest, the Welcome Quest now marks the sharing step as complete.
On peer-to-peer fundraising pages, text pledges not attributed to a participant no longer appear in participants' supporters widgets. Participants see only the text pledges attributed specifically to them.
Mid April
We update the fundraising platform biweekly. Keep reading for a selection of the new features, enhancements, and bug fixes in the latest update.
Features and Enhancements ✨
To give donors the option to help cover processing fees, GiftAssist is now enabled by default on newly-cloned forms. This change does not automatically opt donors into the GiftAssist option on forms. You can still choose to disable GiftAssist manually.
All peer-to-peer form tiles and cloning pages now use the term "campaign" instead of "event" to provide a more consistent administrative experience. This terminology update applies button labels, field names, and various sections.
An alert now appears on the Integrations page if you try to add a QuickBooks or Mailchimp integration that already exists in a connected CRM. This warning helps you avoid duplicate data syncs and maintains a cleaner database.
A warning banner now appears in the auction control panel, dashboard, and Virtual Terminal views if your auction is hidden from Givi attendees due to private item categories or missing dates. The banner includes a direct link to the category settings so you can restore visibility quickly if needed.
In the Virtual Terminal and the Bloomerang Fundraising mobile app:
You can now add auction items, store items, and fund-a need contributions to the cart for bidders who don't have a saved payment method.
When you make a bulk contribution on behalf of bidders, you can now include bidders who don't have a saved payment method.
When you check out:
You can now click Add Payment for a bidder who don't already have a saved payment method.
If a bidder doesn't have a saved payment method, you can select Pay Later.
If you select all bidders click Pay Now, bidders without a saved payment method are excluded.
Fixes 🛠️
When using the Bloomerang CRM integration, multi-select fields now export all selected values to Bloomerang CRM instead of showing blank entries.
Donor accounts now accurately show a "Declined" status for failed transactions. Only successful or correctly linked recurring transactions show a success confirmation.
Express Donate transactions using PayPal for recurring "bill later" payments now collect personal and billing information as expected.
The recurring summary link in recurring gift receipt emails now takes donors to the recurring gift summary page, even if the originating form is closed.
The user invitation page now refers to the "Acceptable Use Policy" and no longer has "Qgiv" branding except where legally required.
The minimum and maximum donation messages are now editable in the Form Builder, even if Text-to-Donate is not enabled.
Large seating charts for auctions now print clearly, ensuring all table and seat numbers are visible without being truncated.

Auctions & Peer-to-Peer Updates
Bloomerang Payments is now supported for auctions and peer-to-peer forms for eligible new Bloomerang Fundraising customers, including payment entry for donations, registrations, store purchases, and checkout. This change applies to both web and mobile (Givi and the Bloomerang Fundraising mobile app).
This update applies to you if:
Your organization is new to Bloomerang and based in the United States, and
Your Bloomerang Fundraising account was created on or after April 9, 2026, and
You accept payments through auctions and peer-to-peer forms
For context on the initial rollout of Bloomerang Payments, see our 2/10/26 Changelog entry.
Mobile & Hardware Enhancements
The following updates apply to all Bloomerang Fundraising customers who use Bloomerang Payments:
You can now accept contactless payments (Tap to Pay) with NFC-capable iPhones and Android devices.
Note that iPads do not support NFC and do not support Tap to Pay.
Stripe M2 card readers are now supported and feature automatic firmware updates.
For credit card payments, all payment receipts and email confirmations now display the last four digits of the card (previously the last two).
Exceptions
The following workflows do not support Bloomerang Payments at this time:
Express Donate
Fundraising Commitments (peer-to-peer registrations)
Recurring gifts on iOS devices, specifically for peer-to-peer fundraising through the Bloomerang Fundraising mobile app

Features and Enhancements ✨
GiftAssist is now enabled by default on newly-created Givi forms. This change does not automatically opt donors into the GiftAssist option on Givi forms. You can still choose to disable GiftAssist.
The Bloomerang corporate address has been updated to 9120 Otis Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46216. This change is automatically reflected in printed event tickets, our API documentation, and various other places within Form Builder and the control panel.
Fixes 🛠️
Duplicate URL aliases (form keys) are now blocked to make sure that each Fundhub, peer-to-peer, and auction form has a unique web address. Aliases for closed or disabled Fundhub forms remain unique and are not reused on active forms. If you have any URLs that need to be fixed, Bloomerang will contact you.
When multi-restriction giving is enabled, amount names no longer appear in notifications, receipts, reports, or exports for the multi-restriction forms.
When admins apply promo codes to event registrations in the web Virtual Terminal:
GiftAssist now calculates the fee based on the discounted total instead of the original total.
Ineligible promo codes now show an error message and do not affect the view of the registration cost.

GiftAssist is now enabled by default on newly-created forms and registrations. This change does not automatically opt donors into the GiftAssist option. You can still choose to disable GiftAssist.
If you add Associated Info to the host website URL for an embedded donation form, the associated info transfers to the form's embed code and is stored with each transaction. This change helps you track which sources the donors came from in your transaction reports. If the URL does not include Associated Info, the embedded form's source URL remains unchanged.
Fixes 🛠️
Bloomerang no longer marks existing DonorPerfect pledges as export failures when amounts or frequencies change.
