Set Up Your Kiosk for Quick Donations

Some gifts happen in a moment. A donor walks up during a service, passes a giving station on the way out of an exhibit, or stops by a table at your event.

Quick Donate is a kiosk mode built for those moments. A donor selects an amount, swipes a card, and they're done. Donors don’t have to log in or enter contact information, which keeps things moving. Each gift appears in Bloomerang Fundraising as a one-time donation.

Why Should I Use Quick Donate on My Kiosk?

  • Capture giving you'd otherwise miss. Cash is fading, and not every donor will stop to fill out a form. Quick Donate turns a passing moment into a completed gift.

  • Keep the line moving. With a two-tap flow and a confirmation screen that clears itself, one donor finishes and the next steps right up. No staff required.

  • Meet donors where they gather. Quick Donate works for tithing during a service, drop-in stations in a lobby, ambient giving at a gala, or a table at a community event.

  • See every gift in one place. Quick Donate gifts appear in Bloomerang Fundraising with the rest of your giving, so your reporting stays whole.

How Does It Work?

  • Setup: Choose one restriction that all gifts apply to, and select up to five donation amounts.

  • Donations: Donors tap one of your present amounts, which appear in ascending order. (Donors can’t enter a custom amount.) To pay, donors swipe, insert, or tap their card.

  • Confirmations: A thank-you screen confirms the gift. Donors don't receive an email receipt because their account and contact information isn’t collected during the donation.

  • Kiosk reset: After five seconds, the kiosk automatically returns to the amount screen, ready for the next donor.

Every Quick Donate gift is recorded as an anonymous, one-time donation tied to your chosen restriction.

Requirements

  • iOS or Android tablet

  • Bloomerang Fundraising mobile app installed on your tablet

  • Card reader connected to your tablet. If you use Bloomerang Payments, connect a Stripe M2 card reader so donors can tap, insert, or swipe their card. If you use another merchant, connect an IDTech reader so donors can insert or swipe their card. Tap isn’t supported for IDTech readers.

Step 1: Request a Kiosk in Quick Donate Mode

Email [email protected] to request two things:

  • A kiosk, if you haven’t already requested one. The kiosk is associated with a specific form.

  • Quick Donate mode for that kiosk.

Step 2: Set Up Your Kiosk for Quick Donations

After our Support team enables Quick Donate mode for your kiosk, you can now set up your kiosk to accept Quick Donations. In the Bloomerang Fundraising web application, you select:

  • One restriction: How these gifts are attributed. Every gift from a Quick Donate kiosk applies to a single restriction.

  • Amounts: Up to five preset amounts. Use a range that fits how your supporters typically give. Donors can’t enter a custom amount.

  • Wording (optional): Change the wording that appears on your kiosk to match your organization’s voice. If you change the wording on a Quick Donate kiosk, wording on other kiosks isn’t affected.

  2. Click Forms.

  3. Click the form associated with your kiosk.
