At events and in-person meetings, process donations efficiently with the Quick Donation form.
Quick donations are fast because:
The streamlined donation form shows only required fields unless you tap to see optional settings.
You can create and search for constituents without leaving the donation form.
You can tap Add Another Donation to process donations one right after another.
On the Quick Donation form, you can add one-time donations only. To add a payment for a recurring donation or pledge, use the standard donation form in the mobile app.
To add a new recurring donation or pledge, you must use the Bloomerang CRM web application.

Requirements
To use the Quick Donations form:
You must use Bloomerang Payments or Stripe Connect as your transaction processor.
If you have any transaction custom fields, you must not require those fields. In the settings for each transaction custom field, clear the Required checkbox.
Important: If the Quick Donation option doesn't appear when you tap the Action button, make sure your transaction custom fields are not required fields. Also, make sure you're using Bloomerang Payments or Stripe Connect.
To add a new constituent from the Quick Donation form, you must not require any constituent custom fields. In the settings for each constituent custom field, clear the Required checkbox. If you require any constituent custom fields, the option to add a new constituent doesn't appear on the Quick Donation form.
Payment Methods
The Quick Donation form accepts online payment methods:
Credit card
Digital wallet (Apple Pay and Google Pay) — Available when Tap to Pay is enabled
Electronic funds transfer (EFT) — Available only if you select an existing constituent who has a primary address entered in Bloomerang CRM
For cash, check, or in-kind payments, use the standard donation form in the mobile app.
Use any of these methods to process payments:
Tap to Pay — Your mobile device is the payment terminal. To make a payment, donors tap their contactless card or digital wallet (Apple Pay or Google Pay) to your mobile device screen. Read What is Tap to Pay?
Mobile card reader — Connect an external reader to your mobile device. Swipe or insert the donor’s card to process the payment. Read Process Donations with a Mobile Card Reader.
Manual Entry — Type the credit card or EFT information.
Add Quick Donations
To add Quick Donations in the Bloomerang CRM mobile app:
Open the Bloomerang CRM mobile app.
On the Home screen, tap the Action button.
Tap Quick Donation.
Note: If you have transaction custom fields marked as Required, the Quick Donation option doesn't appear. To see the Quick Donation option, clear the Required setting for each required transaction custom field.
Enter the Amount.
Tip: You can edit the amount on any Quick Donation screen.Tap Payment Method and select Credit Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or EFT. If you don't see Apple Pay and Google Pay in the list, enable Tap to Pay.
Tap Input Type and select Tap to Pay, Card Swiper, or Enter Manually.
Keep the default Fund or select a different fund from the list. The default fund is the one you selected the last time you entered a Quick Donation.
To change the payment processor, tap Processor. This option appears only if you have more than one processor enabled.
To configure optional settings, tap More. Configure any of these settings: Campaign, Appeal, Non-Deductible amount, Acknowledged. You can also enter a Note.
Tap Next.
To find an existing constituent, tap Search Constituents and enter a name.
To enter a new constituent, enter the First Name and Last Name.
Note: If you have constituent custom fields marked as Required, you can search for existing constituents, but the option to add a new constituent doesn't appear. To add new constituents during a Quick Donation, clear the Required setting for each required constituent custom field.
Tap Donate Now.
To process the payment, do one of the following:
If you use Tap to Pay, ask the donor to tap their contactless card or mobile device to your mobile device screen. Read Process Donations with Tap to Pay.
If you have a card reader, insert the card. Read Process Donations with a Mobile Card Reader.
Manually enter the card number or EFT information.
To add another donation without leaving the form, tap Add Another Donation.
The donation appears on the constituent’s timeline. Make sure to refresh the timeline to see the donation.
If you enabled online payment confirmation receipts and have v24.7.1 or higher of the mobile app, Bloomerang CRM emails a payment receipt to the donor when the payment is processed.
Add Attachments to Donations
To attach web links or image files to the donation, tap the donation and tap the Edit pencil icon. For instructions, read Add and Manage Attachments.

Review possible duplicate constituents.
Merge duplicate constituents.
