With Bloomerang Payments or Stripe Connect, you can use the Stripe Reader M2 mobile card reader to process credit card donations through the Bloomerang CRM mobile app. To order a mobile card reader, contact [email protected].
To pay, donors must insert their chip card into the reader. Donors cannot swipe or tap to pay.

To process transactions using the card reader:
Verify that your device is using iOS 13 or later or Android 9 or later.
Download the Bloomerang CRM app on Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
Connect Bloomerang Payments or Stripe Connect in Bloomerang CRM.
Order the card reader by contacting [email protected].
Enable location services and Bluetooth on your mobile device. For instructions about how to enable location services and Bluetooth, view:
Apple — Turn Location Services On or Off and the "Turn on Bluetooth on Your Device" section in this article.
Important: Do not connect the card reader in the main Bluetooth settings on your mobile device. After you enable location services and Bluetooth, you must connect the card reader through the Bloomerang CRM mobile app.
If you use Stripe Connect, provide a location in your Stripe Connect dashboard. It is OK to use the location of your main headquarters.
Next, connect the card reader.
Connect the Card Reader
To connect the card reader:
Tap More.
Tap Payment Settings.
If prompted, allow location services.
Tap Processor and select Bloomerang Payments or Stripe Connect.
On the card reader, press the side button to power it on.
Tap Connect Card Reader.
When the card reader’s serial number appears, tap it to connect.
When prompted by your mobile device, choose Pair & Connect and select the checkbox to allow access.
You only need to connect the card reader once every time you log in.
Add Donations
To add a donation with the card reader:
Go to the constituent's profile.
On the timeline, tap Add Entry.
Tap Donation.
Enter the donation details.
Tap Payment and select Credit Card.
Tap Select or Add Wallet Item.
Tap New Credit Card.
To use the card reader, tap Insert or Swipe Card.
Follow the on-screen prompts to insert the credit card.
Tap Create to create the wallet item.
To process the donation, tap the check mark at the top right.
