Bloomerang Payments is the payment processor built into Bloomerang CRM. Bloomerang Payments uses Stripe technology, which is trusted by thousands of businesses to accept payments online. After setup and approval, you’re ready to process transactions and get paid.
Accept Many Payment Methods
With Bloomerang Payments, you can accept:
All major credit and debit cards
Digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Venmo), which are available exclusively through Bloomerang Payments
EFT payments
Note: If you’re a new Bloomerang customer located in the United States, and your Bloomerang CRM database was created on or after February 10, 2026, the PayPal and Venmo add-on isn’t available at this time.
Process Payments Multiple Ways
Online Donations
Accept donations through mobile-friendly Bloomerang forms. Payment data automatically appears in your Bloomerang account.
Online giving forms accept credit, debit, EFT payments, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Venmo. Donors can select to cover transaction processing fees.
Membership forms accept credit, debit, EFT payments, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Bloomerang Payments is required if you plan to use Bloomerang membership forms and automatically process membership payments.
Event registration forms accept credit, debit, and EFT payments. Donors can select to cover transaction processing fees.
In-Person Payments
In the Bloomerang mobile app, use Tap to Pay to quickly process contactless payments for in-person donations at events. Payment data automatically appears in your Bloomerang account. Tap to Pay is available exclusively through Bloomerang Payments.
Direct Entry
Manually enter donations directly in Bloomerang CRM.
Use Saved Payment Methods
You can process transactions using a saved payment method.
Process Refunds
You can process credit card refunds directly in Bloomerang CRM.
Get Payouts on a Flexible Schedule
If you're a new Bloomerang Payments customer, your payouts begin after an initial seven-day waiting period.
Payouts are deposited daily if funds are eligible. You can change the payout frequency to daily, weekly, or monthly, unless the payout is from PayPal or Venmo. PayPal and Venmo payouts always happen daily.

Requirements
When you set up Bloomerang Payments for the first time, you must enter business information about your organization and personal legal information about your administrator. For a list of required information, read Information Required to Set Up Bloomerang Payments.
Important: New Bloomerang CRM customers who onboard on or after February 10, 2026, must use Bloomerang Payments to process transactions unless your organization is located outside of the United States. Organizations outside of the United States, including Canada and other countries, must use an integrated third-party processor (Authorize.net or Stripe) to process payments in Bloomerang.
Set Up Bloomerang Payments
New Customers
To start using Bloomerang CRM, you must first set up Bloomerang Payments. If your organization is new to Bloomerang CRM, and you haven’t yet set up Bloomerang Payments, a Welcome page appears when you log in to Bloomerang CRM.
If you already set up Bloomerang Payments in Bloomerang Fundraising (formerly Qgiv), you don’t have to set it up again in Bloomerang CRM.
Existing Customers
If your organization is already using Bloomerang CRM, click Payments and select Payments Home to set up Bloomerang Payments. For complete instructions, read Set Up Bloomerang Payments in Bloomerang CRM (Legacy).
