Add your existing Stripe account to Bloomerang CRM so that you can process credit card donations online. This article describes how to connect your Stripe account to Bloomerang CRM.

Important: New Bloomerang CRM customers who onboard on or after February 10, 2026, must use Bloomerang Payments to process transactions unless your organization is located outside of the United States. Organizations outside of the United States, including Canada and other countries, must use an integrated third-party processor (Stripe or Authorize.net) to process payments in Bloomerang.

Add Stripe to Bloomerang CRM

To add the Stripe processor to Bloomerang CRM:

  1. Log in to Bloomerang CRM.

  2. Go to the Transaction Processors page. You must use this direct link: https://crm.bloomerang.co/Settings/Transaction/CreditCardProcessor

  3. Select New > Stripe Processor.

  4. If you have an existing Stripe account, click Add my existing Stripe account.

  5. If you do not have a Stripe account yet, click Create a New Stripe Account.

  6. Sign in with Stripe, and then Connect my Stripe Account. Your Stripe account is now connected to Bloomerang CRM.

  7. To make this processor the default processor when entering donations in Bloomerang CRM or when creating transaction forms, select Default.

  8. Click Save.

Bloomerang CRM is now ready to process credit cards.

Note: If you select Canada in your organization settings, and if you have a Canadian Stripe account, your online forms use Canadian dollars (CAD), not United States dollars (USD) converted to CAD.
