Information Required to Set Up Bloomerang Payments

When you set up Bloomerang Payments for the first time, you must enter business information about your organization and personal legal information about your administrator.

Before you set up Bloomerang Payments, make sure to gather this information.

Organization Details

First, gather business information about your organization:

  • Legal business name

  • Doing Business As name, if the operating name of your company is different than the legal name

  • Employer Identification Number (EIN)

  • Business address, which is the physical address of your business. This can’t be a P.O. box.

  • Business phone number

  • Industry

  • Business website. If you don’t have a website, you can enter a product description.

  • Statement descriptor, which appears on your donors’ bank statements

Administrator Details

Next, your administrator must gather their personal legal information. This information is used to verify your administrator as an individual responsible for your organization’s accounts.

  • Legal name

  • Email address

  • Job title

  • Date of birth

  • Home address

  • Phone number

  • Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN)

Bank Details for Payouts

Finally, gather information about your organization’s bank account:

  • Bank login credentials to sync, or

  • Bank routing number, account number, and account type (checking or savings)
