You can sync Bloomerang CRM transactions to QuickBooks Online sales receipts, invoices, and payments. You can control how synced transactions appear in QuickBooks Online and when the sync happens.
This article explains how to use the QuickBooks Integration wizard to set up this integration for the first time. If you previously completed the setup wizard and need to edit the sync settings, view Bloomerang CRM to QuickBooks Online: Change When Transactions Sync.

Step 1: Connect to QuickBooks Online
Next, start the the Configure QuickBooks Integration wizard:
Select Settings.
Select Integrations.
Click Integrated Partners.
Click Settings.
In the Bloomerang CRM to QuickBooks section, click Configure.
This wizard walks you through Steps 2 through 4.
Step 2: Select Sync Settings
On the Step 2 page of the Configure QuickBooks Integration wizard, configure the sync settings:
Select how to map transactions to QuickBooks:
All transactions entered as Invoices and Payments
All transactions entered as Sales Receipts
Note: Pledges do not sync because they cannot be represented as sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.Customized transaction setup: If you select a combination of invoices, payments, and sales receipts, syncing might result in some limited sync functionality and manual adjustments might be required. We recommend consistency when possible.
Select whether pledge write-offs should sync immediately or manually.
Select whether refunds should sync immediately or manually.
Select how constituents are entered into QuickBooks Online: Last, First; Last First; or First Last. To avoid creating duplicate customers, enter constituents using the same format used in QuickBooks. First Name and Last Name should match the QuickBooks Display Name exactly, and the Primary Email Address should match the first QuickBooks Email Address.
Step 3: Create Mapping Rules
To map everything in Bloomerang CRM to a single QuickBooks Online account, skip the Custom Mapping section and go to the Default Mapping section.
Create custom mapping rules if you have specific transactions in Bloomerang CRM that you would like to map to specific Service Items, Classes, or Deposit to fields in QuickBooks.
Note: Custom mapping rules are applied in order from top to bottom, which means that a transaction syncs using the first rule in the list that it matches, and then not with any other rules. You may arrange these rules in any order you choose to ensure specific transactions are mapped correctly. If a transaction does not match any custom rule, it maps according to the default mapping rule. You can edit custom mapping rules at any time.
To create custom mapping rules:
Click Add Rule.
Select at least one Fund, Campaign, Appeal, transaction Type, or Method. You can select one or more in any combination.
(Optional) Select a Service Item.
(Optional) Select a Class.
Note: If you select a service item that is linked to a class in QuickBooks, the linked class automatically appears in Bloomerang CRM.(Optional) To unlink the service item and class, click the link. You might do this if you want to select only the service item or class in Bloomerang CRM. If the service item isn't linked to a class in QuickBooks, clicking this link has no effect.
Select a Deposit to value. You can only map to asset accounts.
If you have Location mapping enabled, select a Location.
Note: If you need location mapping, you can add it by clicking the Settings tab in your QuickBooks configuration settings, Yes under Do you need location mapping?, and then Save. You can then apply it in your mapping rules.Click Save.
To create more rules, repeat these steps.
To move a rule up or down in the list, click the up or down arrow button.
To create a Default Mapping:
(Optional) Select a Service Item.
(Optional) Select a Class.
Select a Deposit To value. You can only map to asset accounts.
Step 4: When do you want to begin syncing to QuickBooks?
Select the date, day, and time to begin syncing. Transactions only begin syncing after this date. You can select a date in the past.
Select Automatically Sync or Sync.
Note: Automatic Sync time is based on the time zone of your organization in Bloomerang CRM. If you choose to automatically sync transactions, you can still manually sync at any time.
