Features and Enhancements ✨
Journey Automation has these enhancements:
To help you get started, example draft automations now appear that you can customize and publish:
First-Time Donor Welcome and Retention Journey
Convert to Recurring Donor Journey
Recurring Donor Onboarding Journey
Each example draft appears only if your organization has never created an automation using that entry source (First Ever Donation, Next Donation, or Initial Recurring Donation).
Each example draft has an example template guide that is based on best practices. You can follow the guide or set up the automation how you'd like.

In Journey Automation, donation automations are now organized by donor lifecycle:
The new Donor Lifecycle category includes all your donation automations and has two sections: Current Donor Automations and Prospective Donor Automation.
In the Prospective Donor Automation, click Coming Soon to learn about the upcoming Prospective Donors entry source. In early 2026, you'll be able to use this new entry source to create a cultivation journey for prospective donors.

Features and Enhancements ✨
SSO (Single Sign-On) is now available in Bloomerang CRM and Bloomerang Fundraising. When you first log in to Bloomerang CRM or Bloomerang Fundraising and then log in to the other application, you are prompted to link your accounts between the two apps. After linking the accounts, on future logins you only need to enter your login information once to navigate between the linked applications.
Note that while Bloomerang ensures the security of Bloomerang CRM and the SSO feature itself, you are still responsible for securing your own devices, environment, and user accounts. For more information about SSO security, read Best Practices for Single Sign-On.
In addition, we made several other functional and design-based updates to the Bloomerang CRM login process. These updates provide a more consistent and user-friendly experience across the Bloomerang Giving Platform:
When you enter or create a Bloomerang CRM password, you can now click an icon to reveal or hide your password.
If a new user's invitation link expires, the user can no longer generate a new invitation link themselves and must contact their administrator for assistance.
If you request a password reset link, you can now click a button to resend the link to your email address if needed.
The Bloomerang CRM login, password reset, and two-factor authentication pages have an updated visual design and layout.
The external links on the login pages now include links to the Bloomerang CRM mobile app for both iOS and Android.
The external links no longer include the product blog or changelog. You can still access these pages on Bloomerang's website.
Some phrasing, buttons, and links on the login pages have minor wording updates for increased clarity.

Features and Enhancements ✨
Journey Automation
To quickly create a new email in your automation, you can now select an existing template or copy an existing email.
Three new templates help you set up well-designed automation emails with ease. You can now use the New First Time Donor template, Happy Birthday template, or Simple template.
Donor-advised funds (DAFs)
Numerous changes help to enhance tracking and support for donor-advised funds (DAFs).
The following report columns and merge fields now reflect donors' soft credits automatically:
First transaction date/amount
Second transaction date/amount
Latest transaction date/amount
Largest transaction date/amount
This update ensures that soft credits are reflected in all donor analytics and calculations. In addition, constituent timeline highlights now account for soft credits as well as donations.
We added functionality for DAF relationships:
You can now create relationships between DAFs and DAF donors. From the relationship roles list, select Donor-Advised Fund or Donor-Advised Fund Contributor.
While creating a DAF relationship, you can select Automatically apply Soft Credits for this relationship. After you select this option, donations added to the DAF account will automatically create soft credits for the donor.
DAFs you have linked to donors will now show in the account headers of those donors.
Relationship management is simpler and more efficient:
When you add or edit a relationship, a dialog box opens rather than a separate page.
You can now create relationships from any constituent tab by selecting New Relationship from the drop-down menu in the constituent header. After saving your changes, you remain on the tab you were on originally.
To highlight the ability to create custom relationship roles, admin users can now add a new relationship role from the Select relationship drop-down list.

Features and Enhancements ✨
Journey Automation has these enhancements:
You can now automatically celebrate donor anniversaries. To set this up, create an automation and select the new Donor Anniversary entry source. Bloomerang CRM sends your anniversary email to current donors each year, starting with their first donation anniversary. You can have only one published or paused Donor Anniversary automation at a time.
To help you keep things simple, you can now have only one published or paused Happy Birthday automation at a time.
You can now automatically assign a relationship manager to constituents. In your automation, add an Assign Relationship Manager action and select a relationship manager. If the constituent already has a relationship manager, they keep that manager.
You can now automatically assign a task to the constituent's relationship manager. In your automation, add a Create Task action and select to assign the task to the relationship manager. If the constituent doesn't have a relationship manager, the task is assigned to the Assign To person you select.
iOS 25.10.1.3
You can now send personalized video acknowledgements to donors via email from your mobile device. Each video acknowledgement can be up to 90 seconds long, and each must be unique. This creates an enhanced sense of connection and unforgettable experiences for your donors. You can also select a thumbnail and preview the email and video before you send them to the donor.
You must now link your Apple ID to Bloomerang Payments to use Tap to Pay. If Bloomerang Payments is connected and your device is compatible with Tap to Pay, the mobile app automatically prompts you to link your Apple ID.

Features and Enhancements ✨
Bloomerang CRM now automatically assigns giving levels to donors based on their highest ever total donations in any fiscal year. The available giving levels are General, Mid, and Major. The Giving Settings page now lets you set giving thresholds for each level. This information appears in various places in Bloomerang CRM, and can be used in reports as well.

Features and Enhancements ✨
Journey Automation has this enhancement:
After a transaction is created, Bloomerang now waits 24 hours before evaluating whether the transaction qualifies the constituent to enter a donation automation.
The 24-hour hold:
Gives you time to correct transactions and merge duplicate accounts so constituents enter the automation you intend them to
Allows time for constituents to receive an email receipt before an automation sends an email acknowledgement
Applies to transactions created within the last 24 hours with a donation date within the last 30 days
The Bloomerang online donation form has these updates:
The donate button now includes the donation total and is named Donate Now.
The offset fee option moved to the top of the page.
Billing fields now appear in the Contact Information section.
The Comments box now appears in the Billing section.
If reCAPTCHA v3 can't authenticate this donor, the reCAPTCHA v2 test now appears after the Comments box.

The join button now includes the donation total and is named Start Membership.
Billing fields now appear in the Contact Information section.

Performance improvements
Navigation
The main navigation bar now provides a more unified experience across Bloomerang products. We refreshed the design and added these enhancements:
There is now an Apps icon you can click to access other Bloomerang products directly from Bloomerang CRM.
The product logo shows "Bloomerang CRM" instead of "Bloomerang" to specify the Bloomerang product currently in use.
The Collapse Side Navigation icon is now attached to the side navigation menu instead of to the product logo. You can still see the product logo after collapsing the side menu.
The Notifications icon now:
Displays a red dot instead of showing a number when new notifications are present.
Shows two menu tabs when clicked, one for hidden notifications and one for unhidden notifications, so you can toggle between notifications more easily.
The Help menu now includes a link to product updates so you can view our changelog directly from your account.
The profile icon shows the first letter of the account name instead of an avatar symbol.
Some menu items have updated wording. For example, in the profile button menu, Edit My User is now My profile.
Billing information is now within Settings instead of in the profile menu. The page is called Billing & License.
You can now:
Switch Bloomerang applications more quickly and easily.
Hide payment failure notifications.
Hide all notifications without selecting how long to hide the notification.

Features and Enhancements ✨
Journey Automation has these enhancements:
If a constituent completes or exits a donation automation, they never again enter a donation automation for that same transaction, even if you edit the transaction after they complete or exit the automation.
If you edit a transaction, the constituent can qualify to enter a donation for that transaction only if they have never qualified to enter an automation for that transaction.
If you merge constituent accounts, Bloomerang checks whether the constituent is within a First Ever Donation automation for either account and determines whether the constituent still qualifies to be within that automation. If the donor isn't a new donor, Bloomerang exits the donor from the First Ever Donation automation.
If you import multiple donations for a constituent, Bloomerang uses the donation date to determine whether a donation qualifies for a First Ever Donation or Next Donation automation.
If you import a donation to a constituent who is currently within a First Ever Donation automation, Journey Automation re-evaluates whether the constituent should remain in that automation. If the imported donation predates the other donation, the constituent exits the First Ever Donation automation and re-enters that automation for the imported donation.

Features and Enhancements ✨
Introducing Journey Automation, a powerful new tool that helps you strengthen donor relationships, enhance your fundraising, and save time. Automate personalized, timely communication flows for essential donor outreach, such as acknowledgements, drip campaigns, and birthday greetings. Journey Automation is simple to set up–you don't need advanced knowledge.
Custom Donor Journeys — When you create an automation, you design a custom journey for individual constituents based on donation activity, group membership, or birthdate. Create single- or multi-step journeys, such as an email welcome series for new donors that includes a task assignment for donor calls.
Flexible Automation Options — Each automation begins with an entry source, which defines how constituents qualify to enter an automation. Select from several entry sources based on donation type, group membership, and birthdate. For highly personalized journeys, add optional filters for donation amount, campaign, fund, or appeal. For drip campaigns, you can select to automatically exit constituents who donate to your campaign so you don't continue to send appeals.
Automatic Participation and Progress — After you publish an automation, constituents automatically enter the automation if it applies to them. They automatically move through each step of the journey.
Simple Management and Insightful Analytics
Create and monitor automations at Communications > Journey Automation.
For each automation, view the status (running, paused, draft, archived) and real-time analytics for each status (participant count and list).
View tracking statistics for each automation email.
Manage tasks assigned by automations on the Bloomerang dashboard and Active Tasks list.
Pause, edit, and archive automations, and manually remove constituents from automations.
Prioritize automations if you set up more than one for the same donation type
Licensing — During this public beta, your license allows three running automations. With three, you can automate all of your donation acknowledgements. After the upcoming General Availability release of Journey Automation, you'll be able to upgrade to unlimited running automations.

Features and Enhancements ✨
The Prospective Donors dynamic group page now includes new graphs, filtering options, and metrics designed to help organizations identify constituents who have not donated yet, but who are ready to become donors. These include:
New graphs — Track constituents by number of recent interactions, generosity score, and more.
Interactive graphs — Click on a graph segment to instantly filter the constituents list.
Actions Taken — New Actions Taken metric counts intentional actions that constituents take to engage with your organization.
For more information about the Prospective Donors dynamic group, read Identify Prospective Donors.

Features and Enhancements ✨
Bloomerang forms now include support for reCAPTCHA v3. This version of reCAPTCHA is more secure and usually invisible to donors. If reCAPTCHA v3 determines a legitimate donor is filling out your form, the donor doesn't have to select a reCAPTCHA checkbox or solve a puzzle.
Bloomerang also has the following updates:
When you click New Report, report templates now appear on the same page as the Start From Scratch option. This streamlines the New Report process by eliminating a step and showing you the available report templates at a glance.
The following new report templates have been added:
Revenue Over Specific Timeframe With Totals
Revenue Report for Specific Campaigns/Appeals With Totals
Combined Revenue for Campaign/Appeal – Specific Timeframe
Annual Campaign Report (Transaction Data)
Annual Campaign Report (Constituent Data)
Mailing List – Valid Physical Addresses
Mailing List – No Physical Address – Has Email Address
Mailing List – No Email Address
No Contact List

Features and Enhancements ✨
In Bloomerang, you can now track which constituents and users helped to fundraise donations. This ensures you can credit a fundraiser separately from the constituent who directly or indirectly donated, and the fundraiser's personal giving analytics are not impacted. Users with editing and access permissions can now:
Add, view, or unlink fundraisers on transactions including pledges and all payments.
Use the Fundraiser section instead of using soft credits or custom fields to manage fundraisers.
Run constituent and transaction reports based on fundraiser data.
Acknowledge fundraisers separately from donors.
iOS 25.3.1
This release includes bug fixes and performance improvements.

Features and Enhancements ✨
If you build a constituent-type email in Bloomerang and change the filter type to Households:
Bloomerang now emails only the Head of Household.
If the Head of Household doesn't have an email address, Bloomerang sends the email to another household member.
If the Head of Household doesn't match the filters you select, Bloomerang still emails only the Head of Household.
Bloomerang uses only the Head of Household's email interests. The Head of Household must be subscribed to an email interest selected for your email message.
The email uses household-type merge fields where relevant.
Calculated fields, such as Lifetime Raised and others, show household data.
Non-household merge fields show Head of Household data.
Custom merge fields show Head of Household data.

A description of the partner and a link to the partner web site.
A description of the connector and a link to the connector web site.
Whether the connector was developed by Bloomerang or the partner.
A link to the connector's configuration options, if Bloomerang developed the connector.
How to contact the partner, if they developed the connector.

Features and Enhancements ✨
Several enhancements give donors more ways to fulfill a pledge.
Fulfill a pledge with soft credit
You can now apply a soft credit to an active pledge. For example, if a constituent has a soft credit for a donation made through a donor-advised fund, you can now edit that soft credit to apply it to a pledge.
The soft credit reduces the pledge balance, updates the pledge analytics (pledge status, installment status, amount paid, and amount in arrears), and appears in the Payments Received list.
Fulfill a pledge with a payment from another household member
If a constituent belongs to a household, and another household member has an active pledge:
When you add a pledge payment for the constituent, you can now apply it to another household member's pledge. In the Select One or More list of installments, pledges made by other household members have the Household Pledge label.
You can now convert a donation to a pledge payment on another household member's pledge. When you edit a donation, the Convert to Payment option now appears if other household members have pledges.
If you apply a pledge payment to another household member's pledge, or convert a donation to a payment on another household member's pledge:
The pledge payment reduces the pledge balance, updates the pledge analytics (pledge status, installment status, amount paid, and amount in arrears), and appears in the Payments Received list.
The pledge payment remains on the timeline of the constituent who paid.
Group membership updates the same for both household members.
In transaction reports, the household member who paid appears as the constituent who made the pledge payment.
If you remove either member from the household, the payment remains part of the pledge.
