For added security, we recommend that you turn on two-factor authentication (2FA). This optional security feature adds an extra layer of protection for your data. If you have Administrator permissions, you can turn on two-factor authentication.
After you turn on two-factor authentication, all of your users must complete two separate authentication steps to log in:
Enter a username and password
Enter a verification code
You can also turn off two-factor authentication.
Activate Two-Factor Authentication
To turn on two-factor authentication:
In the left navigation, click Settings.
Click Organization.
In the Two-Factor Authentication section, click Turn on.
Use Two-Factor Authentication
After you enable two-factor authentication, all users in your database must complete two steps to log in.
To log in with two-factor authentication:
Enter your Username and Password.
Click Log In. Bloomerang CRM emails you a verification code from
[email protected]. This code is valid for a limited time.If you don't receive the email:
Check your spam folder and filtered folders.
If you can't find the email or the code has expired, on the verification screen, click Resend Email. The new verification code invalidates previous verification codes.
On the two-factor authentication page, enter the Verification Code. You can try to enter a validation code up to six times. After the sixth incorrect attempt, you are temporarily locked out of your account.
(Optional) Click Trusted device, don’t ask me again for 30 days. If you log in from the same device and browser, you don't have to enter a verification code for 30 days. This option stores a cookie on your device.
Click Verify.
Turn Off Two-Factor Authentication
To turn off two-factor authentication:
In the left navigation, click Settings.
Click Organization.
In the Two-Factor Authentication section, click Turn off.
