Set and track your yearly revenue goal without creating reports. Real-time, visual fundraising metrics help you quickly understand how far you’ve come and how far you have left to go.
On the Home page, your dashboard includes a Revenue Progress tile. On this tile, you can:
Set a goal: Enter your revenue goal for this fiscal year.
View real-time metrics and graphs: Get a big-picture view of your fundraising progress without spending time on reporting.
Change the financial view: Toggle the view between Revenue or Raised to reflect your organization’s preferred metric. Bloomerang CRM remembers your chosen financial view, even if you leave the Home page or log out.
Requirements
To enter or edit a revenue goal, you must have admin permissions.
Enter or Edit Your Revenue Goal
To get started, enter a revenue goal for the current fiscal year. This goal applies to your entire organization. After you enter this goal, everyone in your organization can view the metrics on the Revenue Progress tile, regardless of permissions.
You can update this year’s goal any time throughout this fiscal year.
Note: If you update the fiscal year start date in your organization settings, the current revenue goal is removed from the Revenue Progress tile. Add a new revenue goal and then click Update. The tile uses your new fiscal year start date and shows updated revenue and raised amounts.
To enter your revenue goal:
Click Home.
On the Revenue Progress tile, click Set Revenue Goal.
Enter your goal amount for this fiscal year.

Click Set Goal. The Revenue Progress tile automatically calculates your fundraising progress and shows real-time metrics.
To edit your revenue goal:
Click Home.
On the Revenue Progress tile, click Edit Goal
.Enter your new goal amount for this fiscal year.
Click Set Goal. The Revenue Progress tile automatically recalculates your fundraising progress and shows updated real-time metrics.
View Revenue and Raised Progress
After you set a goal, you can view your real-time progress towards that goal. You can toggle between the Revenue and Raised views.
To view your revenue and raised progress:
Click Home.
Go to the Revenue Progress tile.
To change your financial view, click one of these tabs:
Revenue — Money you actually received donation payments, pledge payments, recurring donation payments, and membership payments. Read more about revenue.
Raised — Money you actually received from donation payments, recurring donation payments, and membership payments, plus the total value of any pledge made but not necessarily paid. Read more about raised money.
View these metrics:
Percent towards goal: A color-coded, circular graph that shows what percent of your goal you’ve achieved so far.

Amount towards goal: The dollar amount you’ve achieved so far and the amount of your goal.
(Optional) To run a transaction report that shows a list of revenue or raised transactions during this fiscal year, click the revenue or raised amount you’ve achieved so far. The New Report page opens, and the report automatically includes the relevant filters. The filters reflect whether your Revenue Progress tile is set to show revenue or raised metrics.
Update the Revenue Progress Tile
Data on the Home page, including data on the Revenue Progress tile, automatically updates each night. To update this data immediately, you can manually start an update.
To manually update data on the Home page:
Click Home.
Click Update. All data on the Home page updates, including data on the Revenue Progress tile.
