Update Organization Settings

On the Organization Settings page, manage your organization’s details:

  • Info — Name, email, and phone

  • Social — Website, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn

  • Fiscal year start — Bloomerang CRM uses your fiscal year in reports and to calculate the Amount Raised This Fiscal Year metric on the Home page.

  • Address — Mailing address

Some of these fields are required. You must enter all required information before you can create your first email or survey in Bloomerang CRM.

You can also:

  • Customize year-end giving statements — Manage your EIN and logo, and select whether to include soft credits and volunteer hours

  • Turn on two-factor authentication — Recommend for added security

  • Export your data — Export most of your Bloomerang CRM data to .CSV files

Edit Organization Details

To edit your organization settings:

  1. Click Settings.

  2. Click Organization.

  3. In the Organization Details section, enter your organization’s information. Bloomerang CRM uses this information in emails and in Bloomerang-hosted forms.

    1. Organization Name

    2. Phone

    3. Email — Bloomerang CRM sends notification emails to this email address when someone submits an online form.

      Tip: To avoid bounced confirmation emails to constituents or bounced notification emails to you, use an email address from your website's domain. For example, use [email protected] rather than a Gmail email address.

  4. In the Address section, enter your organization’s address information.

  5. (Optional) In the Social section:

    1. Enter your Website address. Bloomerang CRM automatically adds your website address to the end of email messages.

    2. Enter your Facebook page, X handle, and LinkedIn page. Bloomerang CRM uses this information for social media buttons on Bloomerang-hosted forms.

  6. Enter or select the Fiscal Year Start, which is the day on which your fiscal year starts. For more information about the fiscal year, view Update the Fiscal Year.

  7. Click Save.

Customize Giving Statements

If you email year-end giving statements to donors, add and manage your organization’s EIN and logo. You can also select whether to include soft credits and volunteer hours in giving statements.

Turn On Two-Factor Authentication

For added security, we recommend that you turn on two-factor authentication (2FA). For more information, read Two-Factor Authentication.

Export Your Data

Bloomerang CRM automatically backs up your data. In the Data Export section, you can also manually export most of your Bloomerang CRM data. For more information, read Export Bloomerang Data and How does Bloomerang store data?
