[Beta] How Donors can Make a Recurring Donation with Invoice Payment Method

Your donors have the option to set up a recurring donation with Invoices. If a donor needs invoices for documentation purposes for their recurring gift or wants an invoice reminder because they don’t want to have the donation processed automatically, donors can elect to receive an invoice at the frequency of their recurring gift.

Recurring gifts can be given on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual basis. If donors choose to be invoiced for their recurring gifts, the invoice will be generated and sent automatically to coincide with each payment due.

After submitting their recurring donation, donors will receive an email with their first invoice. A link in the invoice will take the donor to an invoice payment form where they can submit their payment. Their invoice for that payment will be marked fulfilled. Then, a new unfulfilled invoice will be generated and sent when the next payment is due.
