Bloomerang CRM Mobile App | Add and Edit Constituents

In the Bloomerang CRM app, you can add and edit constituents. You can add these types of constituent accounts:

  • Individual — Add this type of account for a person

  • Organizational — Add this type of account for an organization, company, foundation, or other business entity

Add Constituents

The action button is a quick way to add constituents. You can also add constituents in a few other ways.

To add a constituent:

  1. In the Bloomerang CRM mobile app, tap the action button mobile_action_icon.png.

  2. Tap Create Constituent.

  3. Tap Individual or Organization.

  4. Enter the constituent’s First Name and Last Name.

  5. (Optional) Enter more information about the constituent:

    • Name information — Title and Suffix

    • Personal information — Gender, Birthday, Employer, and Job Title

    • Preferred Channel — Email, Mail, Phone, or Text Message.

    • Restrictions — Do Not Call, Do Not Mail, and Do Not Solicit

  6. To save, tap the check mark icon. A success message appears for a few moments.

    "Constituent created! Tap to go to the profile" message.

  7. To add contact information and relationships for this constituent, or to create and join a household, tap View in the success message.
    Tip: You can also search for the constituent to view and edit their account.

Other Ways to Add Constituents

You can add constituents from other places in the mobile app.

Add Constituents from the Main Menu

To add constituents from the main app menu:

  1. Tap Constituents

  2. Next to the search bar, tap the plus icon.

Add Constituents During a Quick Donation

When you add a Quick Donation, you can add a donation and constituent at the same time. You don’t have to add a new constituent before you add the donation.

Add Constituents from the App Shortcut

App shortcuts are bookmarked actions that appear when you press and hold a mobile app icon.

To add constituents from the app shortcut:

  1. From the Home screen on your mobile device, press and hold (“long press”) the Bloomerang CRM mobile app icon.

  2. Tap New Constituent. The Create New Constituent screen opens immediately if you’re logged in to the app.

Edit Constituents

To edit constituents:

  1. In the Bloomerang CRM mobile app, tap Constituents.

  2. Search for the constituent.

  3. Tap the constituent’s name.

  4. Tap Profile.

  5. To edit Basic Information, tap the pencil icon.

  6. Tap any of these sections:

    • Household — Create or join a household.

    • Relationships — Add relationships with other constituents.

    • Groups — View groups this constituent belongs to. To edit groups, use the Bloomerang CRM web application.

    • Communication Preferences — Select the constituent’s preferred communication channel and any restrictions.

    • Phone Numbers — Add one or more phone numbers and mark one as primary.

    • Emails — Add one or more email addresses and mark one as primary.

    • Addresses — Add one or more mailing addresses and mark one as primary.

    • Social Media — Add Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter accounts, and a website.

  7. To add, view, or change the profile photo, tap the profile picture.

Note: To create or manage memberships, use the Bloomerang CRM web app.
