View Membership Information for Constituents

If your subscription includes membership management, you can view a constituent’s profile to identify whether they are a member.

You’ll see these membership details, which give you more context for conversations with the constituent:

  • Membership program and level — Which program and level this member belongs to.

  • Membership statusCurrent or Lapsed. Canceled memberships don’t appear on constituent profiles.

  • Renewal date — The yearly date this membership renews. If the membership is current but has an end date, the renewal date is empty. If the membership lapses, the renewal date remains the same.

Bloomerang CRM automatically calculates the membership status and renewal date for each member.

Note: If someone in a household joins your membership program, only that constituent is a member. Membership information appears on the constituent profile for only the constituent who joined the membership program. Membership information doesn't appear on the household profile.

View Membership Information

If a constituent is a current or lapsed member of a membership program, the Memberships tile appears on the constituent’s Profile page.

All users may always view the Memberships tile. User permissions affect who may click Edit or View to access a constituent’s membership transactions, membership schedule, and payment method.

To view membership information on constituent profiles:

  1. Go to the constituent’s profile.

  2. Click Profile.

  3. Go to the Memberships section.

  4. To view more membership details, click Edit or View, depending on your user permissions.
    If your account has permissions to view or edit transactions for this constituent, you’ll see complete information about the membership:

  • Membership program, level, amount, and non-deductible

  • Fund, campaign, and appeal

  • Payment method

  • Schedule (start date, end date, and renewal date)

  • Whether the membership autorenews

  • Whether the last membership payment was successful.

Note: The Last Modified date on constituent profiles doesn't change when constituents become members.
