Add BluePay to Bloomerang

Bloomerang CRM

Updated over 2 weeks ago

After you sign up for BluePay and receive your login credentials, you can add your BluePay account to Bloomerang so that you can process credit card and EFT donations. This article describes how to add the BluePay processor to your database.

Important: New Bloomerang CRM customers who onboard on or after February 10, 2026, must use Bloomerang Payments to process transactions unless your organization is located outside of the United States. Organizations outside of the United States, including Canada and other countries, must use an integrated third-party processor (Authorize.net or Stripe) to process payments in Bloomerang. New Bloomerang CRM customers can no longer sign up to use BluePay.

Step 1: Find Your BluePay Account ID and Secret Key

To find your BluePay API information:

  1. Log in to your account using the credentials provided by the BluePay team.

  2. Select Admin > Accounts > List.

  3. Click the account name.

  4. On the Account Admin page, find the Account ID and the Secret Key fields. You must plug these in on the Bloomerang side.

Warning: Do not click Create New Key. Creating a new key changes your secret key. If you do change your secret key, you must update it for that processor in your Bloomerang database.

Step 2: Create the Processor in Bloomerang

To add the BluePay processor to Bloomerang:

  1. Log in to Bloomerang.

  2. Go to the Transaction Processors page. You must use this direct link: https://crm.bloomerang.co/Settings/Transaction/CreditCardProcessor.

  3. Select New > BluePay Processor.

  4. On the Transaction Processor page:

    • In the Name field, type a name for the processor (such as BluePay).

    • In the Account ID field, copy and paste in the account ID from BluePay.

    • In the Secret Key field, copy and paste in the secret key from BluePay.

  5. Click Save. Bloomerang is now ready to process credit cards and EFT.
