Features and Enhancements ✨
The volunteer login page has updated functionality and design:
The login page now includes only an email text box instead of both an email and a password text box. This streamlines the login process as the system now gives volunteers login instructions based on whether the entered email address is associated with a Bloomerang Volunteer account.
After entering their email address:
Returning volunteers are prompted to enter their password.
New volunteers who do not have an account with that email address are prompted to complete account creation instructions. The email address they entered is pre-filled in the text boxes.
Volunteers claiming pre-made accounts are sent a verification code they can enter to finish account setup.
The Create Your Account button is now removed.
The Forgot Your Password? button now says Forgot Password?
The Forgot Password? page has a new design and no longer appears on the main login page. It appears on the password entry page after a returning volunteer enters their email address.
The login page footer now includes the following options:
System Status
Refer a Friend
iOS
Android
The language selector
The login page footer no longer includes:
Copyright text
Privacy
Terms
Knowledge Base

Features and Enhancements ✨
Numerous design and navigation changes help to streamline tasks for administrators and separate admin and volunteer functionality more clearly.
The administrator and volunteer views of Bloomerang Volunteer are more distinct:
Admins now log in at https://volunteer.bloomerang.co/admin/#/. The old login page redirects to the new one. Volunteers will continue to use their normal login page.
Admins no longer have a Create Account button on their login page.
Notifications now appear only in the context of your current view. Admin notifications only appear in the admin/manager view, and volunteer notifications only appear in the volunteer view.
The volunteer view no longer has options for creating or accessing opportunities as an administrator. Organization and opportunity tiles no longer show the number of pending applications or Manager/Volunteer banners.
All admins see these navigation enhancements:
There is a new main navigation bar:
The "Bloomerang Volunteer" product logo shows on each page to help you track which Bloomerang product you're currently using.
Click the new Apps icon to access Bloomerang CRM and Bloomerang Fundraising directly from Bloomerang Volunteer without opening separate login pages for each product.
The Notifications menu now states the total number of notifications you have.
The Help menu now appears on the main navigation bar and has more resources including Feature Suggestions, Refer a Friend, and Product Updates.
The Profile icon now shows the first letter of the name on the account, instead of an avatar symbol or profile image.
The Profile menu is admin-specific and includes options for My Profile, Switch to Volunteer View, and Log Out.
The navigation path now starts with the name of your organization on most pages. If you are on the My Profile page, the navigation path starts with "My Profile".
The language selector now appears on the same level as the navigation path.
The admin interface is more specific to your permissions:
The home page for organization managers is the Overview page for their organization. The home page for other admins is the Opportunities page for their organization.
Opportunity/Event managers and role managers can access only the Opportunities page in the side navigation menu.
Opportunity managers see only the opportunities they manage in that organization.
Role managers see a visual indicator for opportunities where their highest permission level is role manager.
If you have multiple admin roles, you access each opportunity with the highest level of permission assigned to you for that opportunity. For example, if an admin is both an organization manager and a role manager for an opportunity, they access that opportunity as an organization manager.
In addition to these changes, Bloomerang Volunteer has these updates:
If you have access to both admin and volunteer accounts:
Admins can switch between multiple organizations from the home page.
System message banners no longer include the language selector. Banners in the volunteer view have updated wording, and banners in the admin view are repositioned around the new navigation menu.

Features and Enhancements ✨
In Bloomerang Volunteer, you can now reference and download volunteer responses to custom question waivers. This ensures you can track waiver submissions and save or print them for your records. Administrators can now:
View PDFs of waiver submissions on a volunteer's organization or opportunity profile
Download waiver responses submitted after this release (if you have data export permissions)
Read what the volunteer agreed to at the date and time of waiver submission
Track when a waiver was submitted by a volunteer or by an administrator on the volunteer's behalf
Note: If a volunteer deletes their Bloomerang Volunteer account or an admin removes the volunteer from their organization, the volunteer's past signed waivers are permanently deleted and cannot be viewed or recovered.

Features and Enhancements ✨
In the Bloomerang Volunteer mobile app, the Master Schedule page within each opportunity now shows shifts within a three-month window before or after the current date. For example, if a manager or administrator views the master schedule on April 10, they can view shifts from January 10 to July 10.
This change improves app performance and loading times and applies to both iOS and Android devices.

Features and Enhancements ✨
Numerous changes help to streamline processes for users and increase visibility into actions and their effects within Bloomerang Volunteer.
Administrators can now:
Set a Default Timezone for the organization that automatically applies to new opportunities.
Receive warnings when shifts will not appear to volunteers during the signup process, including when a shift does not have any roles or is in a draft state.
Create an email template at the same time they create an email automation so they don't have to stop the automation process to create a template first.
View custom question responses across opportunities from the volunteer's organization profile without opening each opportunity individually.
Delete venues and locations without automatically deleting schedules. When you delete a venue or location, you can choose to update only the opportunity's place or also to delete shifts associated with the venue or location.
Interact more with the Central Schedule calendar view. When you select a date on the calendar, the Scheduled Roles table updates with data for that specific date.
On an organization's public page, volunteers can also see the opportunities they signed up for in addition to available opportunities.

You no longer receive a warning message if you access Bloomerang Volunteer from a web browser other than Google Chrome. Chrome remains the recommended browser.

Features and Enhancements ✨
Bloomerang Volunteer has a new Central Schedule feature.
You can now view scheduling issues across multiple shifts and opportunities for your entire organization. Track and manage schedule gaps from one place instead of opening opportunities individually.
You can now:
View an Upcoming Schedule Shortages dashboard tile on your Organization Overview page, which summarizes the total shortages for scheduled roles starting within a specific timeframe
Visit the new Central Schedule page to access:
Scheduled role percentages for volunteer shortages, achieved number of volunteers required, and full/reached signup limits within a selected date range
A calendar view that highlights dates within the selected month that have scheduled role shortages
A table view that filters information across opportunities based on scheduled role status, opportunity, and date range
Administrators with editing permissions can edit shifts and volunteers directly from the Central Schedule page. Download our Schedule Gap and Schedule by Date reports to print these scheduling insights.
Note: Central Schedule views show only current and future dates. For example, data about schedule shortages is not available for December 2024.

Features and Enhancements ✨
Bloomerang Volunteer has the following updates.
Identify shift scheduling issues and address gaps in coverage more quickly with these new Schedule reports:
Schedules by Date – View Volunteers and their Shift times for each day across multiple Opportunities or within a single Opportunity.
You can print Schedule by Date reports for offline viewing or to post to your bulletin board to display which Volunteers will be on site each day.
Organization-level reports are organized by Opportunity, Role, or Venue.
Opportunity-level reports are organized by Day, Role, or Venue.
Schedule Gap Report – View Scheduling gaps across multiple Opportunities based on Scheduled Roles and Volunteers Required.
In addition, Bloomerang Volunteer now blocks non-Organization members from signing up for Opportunities with private signup links. When you enable the Show to Members of Your Organization visibility setting for an Opportunity:
Bloomerang Volunteer verifies if the Volunteer is part of the Organization based on the Volunteer's email address.
If the Volunteer is not part of the Organization, the system stops the Opportunity signup process and directs them to the Organization's signup page instead.
