About Bloomerang Giving Platform Settings

Manage how Bloomerang Volunteer connects and syncs with the rest of the Bloomerang Giving Platform from one place.

Note: If you are a customer with both Bloomerang Volunteer and Bloomerang CRM, your accounts should connect automatically. If your platform connection fails, you can connect Bloomerang Volunteer and Bloomerang CRM manually.

How It Works

Your Bloomerang Giving Platform settings organize and show Bloomerang Volunteer’s connection to other Bloomerang products. Use the Platform Settings page to:

  • Confirm whether Bloomerang Volunteer is connected to Bloomerang CRM at a glance.

  • Manage how and when volunteer data syncs.

  • Review past syncs and resolve syncing errors.

  • Manage your authorization of the platform connection.

Open Giving Platform Settings

To open your Bloomerang Giving Platform settings:

  1. If you are in more than one organization, make sure you are in the right one.

  2. In the main navigation bar, select Your Giving Platform Your Giving Platform icon with the Bloomerang flower symbol and the Bloomerang "b"..

  3. Select Platform Settings. The Platform Settings page opens.

Your platform settings include the following information:

  • Connection status. Shows whether Bloomerang Volunteer is connected to Bloomerang CRM.

  • Sync Queue Status. Shows the status of syncs that are in progress or waiting to run.

  • Sync Controls. Manage automatic syncing, manual syncs, and which new volunteers are included in syncs. For more information, read Sync Volunteer Data with Bloomerang CRM.

  • Sibling Organizations. View and manage one-to-many connections between organizations. If you don’t have sibling organizations, this section does not appear. For more information, read About Sibling Organizations.

  • Activity Logs. View a log summary and download a .CSV log file to review or troubleshoot syncs. For more information, read View Bloomerang CRM Logs.

  • Authorization. Connect Bloomerang Volunteer to Bloomerang CRM, or manage the API key for a manual connection. To set up a manual connection, read Bloomerang CRM Integration.
