About the Generosity Score

Bloomerang CRM

Updated yesterday

View a constituent’s generosity score for to quickly understand their potential giving. This score appears on constituent profiles in Bloomerang CRM.

The generosity score is available to all Bloomerang CRM customers at no cost.

How It Works

The generosity score is a color-coded temperature meter with one of these scores: On Fire, Hot, Warm, Cool, Cold. If the constituent hasn’t been screened, Not Scanned appears instead of a score. The generosity score appears for individual constituents, but not organizations.

Example "On Fire" generosity score for a constituent

To calculate this score, Bloomerang CRM partners with DonorSearch. DonorSearch is a wealth prospecting tool that gathers public wealth information for individuals, such as wealth markers, real estate holdings, and philanthropic history. Bloomerang CRM calculates the generosity score based only on the DonorSearch (DS) rating for a constituent.

To be screened by DonorSearch, your constituents must have a first name, last name, and a U.S. address in Bloomerang CRM that match a public record found by DonorSearch.

This table shows how the generosity score in Bloomerang CRM corresponds to the DonorSearch (DS) rating.
