Log In to Multiple Bloomerang Applications with Single Sign-on

Updated over a month ago

Bloomerang uses single sign-on (SSO) to simplify and streamline the login experience. When you log in to one Bloomerang application and then log in to another one, you are prompted to link your accounts between applications.

Pop-up window with the option to link product accounts across the Bloomerang Giving Platform.

  • To link your accounts, click Link Accounts.

  • To skip the linking process for now, click Ignore. If you choose to ignore the prompt, Bloomerang will ask you again when you log in to another Bloomerang application. To prevent Bloomerang from asking you to link your accounts in the future, select the Don’t show this message again option, then click Ignore.

Note: For Bloomerang Volunteer users, only manager accounts link to accounts in other Bloomerang apps. You can still switch between the manager and volunteer views in Bloomerang Volunteer without logging in again.

If you choose to link your accounts, the applications are linked with single sign-on. In the future, when you log in to one of the linked apps and log in to the other one, you do not need to log in again. After logging in once, you can switch between all linked Bloomerang apps without entering your login credentials again.

Note: You still have a separate account in each Bloomerang application. Single sign-on reduces the number of times that you need to sign in, not the number of accounts that you have.

About Single Sign-on and Automatic Logout

Each Bloomerang application automatically logs you out after a certain amount of time. These logout thresholds are different for each app:

Note: You will never be automatically logged out of any linked Bloomerang applications due to inactivity. As long as you are still active in any Bloomerang application, your login session in any linked applications is automatically extended.
