To encourage supporters to donate through your website, add a donation button and form.
You can use Kindful Fundraising to create and customize the donation button and form. To create the button and form, you must create a donation plugin in Kindful Fundraising.
After you create the donation plugin, Kindful Fundraising generates a small piece of code known as a code snippet. Kindful Fundraising generates two types of code snippets: one for a pop-up donation form and another for a form embedded in your website. When you copy and paste either of these code snippets to your existing website code, a donation button appears on your website.
When a donor clicks the donation button, a donation form appears.
Note: Donors can pay with a credit card or bank account. Digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Venmo) are not available through donation plugins. For more information, view Payment Methods in Kindful Fundraising.
