Insert a Template into an Email

To insert a template into an email, do the following:

  1. If you are in more than one organization, make sure you are in the right one.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • For organization-wide templates, click People from the side menu, and then click Volunteers.

    • For opportunity-specific templates:

      1. Click Opportunities.

      2. Select an opportunity, or use the search box to find and select an opportunity.

      3. In the opportunity menu, click People, and then click Volunteers.

  3. On the volunteer list, select one or more recipients.

  4. Click Take Action Take Action checkbox icon..

  5. Hover over Send, then click Message.

  6. On the Send Message screen, click Select a Template.

  7. In the Template Library, click a template to select it.

  8. (Optional) To preview a template, click Take Action, then click Preview. On the Preview, you can select Desktop, Tablet, or Mobile to see how the template will appear on each type of device. Click Done to close the Preview.

  9. Click Use Template to insert the content of the template into your email.
