Find and Use Email Templates

To find and use an email template:

  1. Go to the volunteers list by doing one of the following:

    1. From the organization, click Volunteers.

    2. From the opportunity, click Volunteer List.

  2. To send a message to one volunteer, click the volunteer’s name, then click Send Message.

  3. To send a message to multiple volunteers:

    1. Select the checkbox next to the name of each volunteer.

    2. Click Take Action .

    3. Click Send.

    4. Click Message.

  4. On the Send Message screen, click Select a Template.

  5. In the Template Library, use any of the following methods to find a template:

    1. Use the search box to find templates by keyword.

    2. Use the View drop-down list to filter the search results.

    3. Use the Folders drop-down list to view the templates that are in a specific folder.

    4. (Optional) Click + to add a new folder to the template library.

  6. In the list of templates, click a template to select a template.

  7. (Optional) To preview the template or delete it from the template library, click Take Action and select an action.

  8. Click Use Template. The body of your email changes to reflect the template that you selected.

  9. Customize the email as needed.

  10. (Optional) Click Preview to see what the email will look like.

  11. (Optional) Click Send Test to send a test email to yourself.

  12. (Optional) Click Save as New to save the email as a new template so that you can reuse it across opportunities or at the organization level.

  13. Click Send Now to send the message.
