This article explains how to find what you need in Bloomerang CRM and how to get help.
Basic Navigation
At the top of any page, enter a search in the Search For Constituents box to find a constituent.
From the side navigation menu, connect to all settings and information in Bloomerang CRM.
Home takes you to the home dashboard that provides quick access to your recent work with constituents and reports, highlights how well your organization is doing in its fundraising and donor retention efforts, and empowers you to take action via donor calls and tasks.
Constituents takes you to the constituent dashboard, where you can view all of your constituents and add new constituents.
Groups takes you to the Group Summary page, where you can view a list of all groups.
Reports takes you to the reporting area where you can generate onscreen or Excel reports.
Communications expands a menu with items about communicating with your constituents:
Emails: Create email templates and send out mass emails.
Journey Automation: Automate email acknowledgements, multi-step email campaigns targeted to groups, and happy birthday greetings.
Letters: Create letter templates and generate PDF letters.
Forms: Create and manage forms for online giving, event registration, email sign-up, and constituent info. You can also edit form settings that affect all Bloomerang CRM forms.
Engagement Surveys: Activate surveys for new, existing, and lapsed donors.
Tributes: Add tribute donations made in memory of or in honor of someone.
Data Tools expands a menu with items you can add information to or update, including:
Import: Upload a spreadsheet of data in a few easy steps.
Bulk Update: Make bulk updates to Funds, Campaigns, and/or Appeals of transactions.
Bulk Delete: Permanently delete multiple transactions at the same time.
Merge Duplicates: Review and merge duplicate constituents to maintain the health and quality of your data.
Settings takes you to these areas:
Organization: Edit your organization's name, contact information, and social media accounts; turn on two-factor authentication (2FA); and export your data.
Users: Create and edit user accounts, configure email notification preferences for users, and generate and copy API v2.0 keys.
Custom Data: Manage custom fields and values for constituents, transactions, interactions, and notes. Manage custom values for relationships, funds, campaigns, and appeals. If your subscription includes membership management, set up and manage membership programs and levels.
Integrations: Configure accounting and email integrations, and connect to the National Change of Address (NCOA) dashboard.
Payments: Connect to payment processors, enable the PayPal & Venmo add-on, view and edit payout details, view and resolve credit card payment failures, and enable online payment confirmation receipts.
Website Tracking: Track constituent visits to your website.
Billing & License: View usage and subscription information for your Bloomerang CRM account. View or update your payment method, pay your balance, and view any open or previous invoices.
By default, the navigation menu is expanded. To collapse the menu, click the arrow icon next to Home. When you collapse the menu, it remains collapsed the next time you use Bloomerang CRM.
To expand the navigation menu, click the arrow icon.
Read Notifications
We use notifications to alert you to new features and important announcements. Click the Notifications icon
to read or hide notifications.
Get Help, Submit Feature Requests, and Refer Friends
For help, click the Help icon
within the main navigation menu choose an option:
Help Center: Read online help articles and documentation about using Bloomerang CRM.
Bloomerang Learning: Complete on-demand educational learning paths and self-paced courses about using Bloomerang products.
Feature Suggestions: Submit and track your ideas for how we can improve Bloomerang products, or vote on suggestions made by other Bloomerang users.
Contact Support: Submit and track your support requests in the Support Portal. A Support agent will respond to your inquiry by email as soon as possible during business hours. You can also email us directly at [email protected].
Refer a Friend: Refer a friend or colleague to Bloomerang through our referral program.
Product Updates: Read recent and past updates to Bloomerang’s products in our changelog.
To chat with us, click the Chat icon
in the lower left.
View User Settings
To view your user settings, click your profile icon
and then click My Profile. In your profile, you can view your account details, API keys, and preferences.
Log Out
To log out of Bloomerang CRM, click your profile icon
and then click Log Out. When you log out of one Bloomerang application, you are automatically logged out of any other Bloomerang applications that you are logged into with single sign-on.
Note: Your profile icon shows the first letter of the account name, not your username.
For your security, Bloomerang CRM automatically logs you out 12 hours after you log in or after 3 hours of inactivity.
Switch Between Bloomerang Applications
To go to Bloomerang Volunteer or Bloomerang Fundraising (formerly Qgiv) directly from Bloomerang CRM, click the Apps icon
.
Note: Bloomerang uses single sign-on to simplify the login process. When you log in to one Bloomerang application and then log in to a different one, you can choose to link your accounts between the two apps. If you do this, you do not need to log in again when you switch between those apps in the future.
For your security, Bloomerang automatically logs you out 12 hours after you log in or after 3 hours of inactivity. This does not automatically log you out of other Bloomerang products.
Tip: If you are logged into multiple Bloomerang apps with single sign-on, you will not be automatically logged out of any of them due to inactivity as long as you are actively working in one of them.
