How do I get started using Bloomerang CRM and how do I access support?

Getting Started

If you're new to Bloomerang CRM, watch our New User Orientation in Bloomerang Learning and read Getting Around Bloomerang CRM. You can sign up for other free Bloomerang Learning courses too.

Resources

When you are signed into the Bloomerang CRM web app, the Help Help icon, shaped liked a question mark. menu provides quick access to help resources and the Features Portal:

  • Help Center: Read online help articles and documentation about using Bloomerang CRM.

  • Bloomerang Learning: Complete on-demand educational learning paths and self-paced courses about using Bloomerang products.

  • Feature Suggestions: Submit and track your ideas for how we can improve Bloomerang products, or vote on suggestions made by other Bloomerang users.

  • Contact Support: Submit and track your support requests. A Support agent will respond to your inquiry by email as soon as possible during business hours. You can also email us directly at [email protected].

  • Refer a Friend: Refer a friend or colleague to Bloomerang through our referral program.

  • Product Updates: Read recent and past updates to Bloomerang’s products in our changelog.

Chat with Support

You can chat with a Support Agent directly from anywhere within the Bloomerang CRM web app:

  1. Log in to Bloomerang CRM.

  2. In the lower left corner from anywhere in the Bloomerang CRM web app, click the Chat Speech bubble iconicon.
    The chat window expands.

    • During business hours, enter your first name, last name, and email address to begin a chat with a Support Agent.

    • Outside business hours, please leave a message with your first name, last name, and email address, and a Bloomerang Support Agent will respond by email during business hours.

When chat is online:

  • Flora, our support chatbot, provides your queue position and notifies you when a Support Agent is ready to help.

  • While you are waiting for a Support Agent, you can add notes, questions, or screenshots to help us better assist you. See Tips for Working with Support for suggestions on what to include.

Bloomerang Support hours are 9am to 8pm EDT/EST Monday through Friday.

Tips for Working With Support

There are a few things that you can do to help Bloomerang Support help you faster:

  • Provide the email address you use for your Bloomerang CRM account.

  • Share your goal. What are you trying to accomplish?

  • Be specific. For example, if you are having trouble with a report named "Monthly Donors," include the report name in your question or notes.

  • Include a screenshot. You are able to attach files to all requests submitted by chat, email, or web form.

  • Support can't see your screen, so please help direct us to what you see. Your description doesn't need to be perfect. Just do your best. Including your navigation steps can be very helpful.
