To build and maintain relationships with major donors and potential high-capacity donors, assign a relationship manager.
In Bloomerang CRM, you can identify high-capacity donors who aren’t assigned a relationship manager. You can then:
Assign relationship managers who will cultivate, solicit, and acknowledge these donors in highly personalized ways
Make sure relationship managers have a manageable portfolio of assigned constituents
Quickly see which relationship manager is assigned to a constituent
Your relationships managers can:
Quickly review their portfolio of assigned constituents
Communicate with high-capacity donors in high-touch ways
Relationship management is built into Bloomerang CRM and doesn't require any custom fields.
How It Works
You can get started right away–no need to set up a moves management workflow before you begin.
You can assign one relationship manager to each constituent. Relationship managers can be any active user in Bloomerang CRM. You can always add new Bloomerang users, such as board members who are also relationship managers.
To assign a relationship manager, you can:
Manually assign — Go to the constituent’s account and manually assign a relationship manager
Automatically assign — Create an automation that automatically assigns a relationship manager. For example, create a donation automation, filtered by amount, to acknowledge major donors and assign them a relationship manager. If a constituent already has a relationship manager, they keep that relationship manager. Read more about this.
The relationship manager appears in the constituent’s account header.
Run Relationship Management Reports
View relationship management data in your reports. For example, to build and manage major gift portfolios, run reports that show you:
High-capacity donors not assigned to a relationship manager
Donors assigned to any or specific relationship managers
The size and giving capacity of each portfolio
Filter Emails and Letters by Relationship Manager
When you create emails and letters in Bloomerang CRM, you can filter the recipient list by relationship manager.
Reassign Relationship Managers
You can always reassign or remove relationship managers. For example, Ann is the relationship manager for Robert. In Robert’s constituent account, you can reassign Maria as the relationship manager.
If you deactivate or delete a Bloomerang CRM user who has assigned constituents, we’ll automatically prompt you to select a new relationship manager for those constituents.
