Email interests are categories of emails that constituents are interested in receiving from your organization. Every marketing email must have at least one email interest. Email interests don’t apply to transactional emails, which are emails with these purposes: Acknowledgement, Receipt, or Payment Reminder.

Create Email Interests
To add a new email interest:
Click Communications.
Click Emails.
Tip: Don't see this in Bloomerang CRM? Email [email protected] to upgrade your free account to start creating emails.Click Delivery Settings.
In the Email Interests section, click New.
Enter a Name for the email interest.
Important: Choose a name that accurately describes the email content. Constituents see this name and can opt in or out of this email interest.
Click Save.
Edit an Email Interest Name
To edit the name of an email interest:
Click Communications.
Click Emails.
Click Delivery Settings.
In the Email Interests section, click the email interest.
Enter a new Name.
Click Save.
Activate or Deactivate Email Interests
You can deactivate email interests that you aren't using. After you deactivate an email interest:
When you add a new email, deactivated email interests don't appear.
When constituents click the Manage My Email Preferences link in your email messages, they don't see deactivated email interests.
Bloomerang CRM keeps constituent preferences for deactivated emails. If you reactivate an email interest, constituents again receive emails for that interest.
To activate or deactivate an email interest:
Click Communications.
Click Emails.
Click Delivery Settings.
In the Email Interests section, click down arrow next to the email interest.
Select Activate or Deactivate.
To show inactive email interests in the list, click Inactive or All. Inactive email interests appear in italics.
