Track and Report on Emails

For each email you send in Bloomerang CRM, view tracking statistics to verify delivery and measure how constituents interact with your messages. You can view tracking statistics for the email or each constituent. You can also run a report to see statistics for many constituents.

View Tracking Statistics for Emails

To view email tracking statistics:

  1. After you send the email, click Communications.

  2. Click Emails.

  3. Click the email to open it. The Tracking tab opens.

You'll see these statistics:

  • Status — Launched, queued, sent, or opened

  • Deliverability — Percentage of emails delivered to recipients

  • Open Stats — Percentage recipients who opened the email

  • Recipient Engagement — Number of recipients who clicked a link, unsubscribed, and marked the email as spam

  • Most Clicked Links — Number of clicks for the most popular links in your email

To see a list of constituents for each type of statistic, click the graph, icon, or label for that statistic. A list of constituents appears after the statistics. For example, to see a list of constituents who opened the email, click the Opened icon, Opened portion of the circle graph, or the Opened label under the graph.

To search for a constituent in the list, enter a search term in the Search bar above the constituent list. Click a recipient to go to the interaction on the timeline.

To export the unfiltered constituent list to a .XLSX file, click Export to Excel.

To leave this page, do one of the following:

  • If this is a mass email, click Return to Email List.

  • If this is an automation email sent by Journey Automation, click Go to Journey Automation.

Use This Information

Your organization can use this information in many ways. For example, refine subject line and email link wording based on the number of email opens and links clicked. Maintain a good email-sending reputation by removing email addresses that drop, bounce, or mark your email as spam.

Generated Email and Statistics for Constituents

After you send an email, an interaction for that email appears on each recipient's timeline. Open that interaction to see:

  • The email that was generated and sent for this interaction. To view the email and download it as an HTML file, go to the Generated Email section and click the name of the email.

  • The email delivery status.

  • Whether the constituent opened the email, clicked a link, or unsubscribed.

  • Whether the email was marked as spam.

Report on Email Statistics

To report on statistics for emails sent by Journey Automation:

  1. Create an interaction report.

  2. Include the Created By and Is Equals To filters and enter Journey Automation.

  3. Include these filters: Is Opened, Has Any Clicked Links, and Is Unsubscribed.

  4. Add columns for Is Opened, Has Any Clicked Links, and Is Unsubscribed.

Statistics for automation emails include data for all participants and are cumulative. Each time the automation sends the email, the statistics update.

To report on statistics for mass emails:

  1. Create an interaction report.

  2. Include these filters: Channel is Mass Email, Is Opened, Has Any Clicked Links, and Is Unsubscribed.

  3. Add columns for Is Opened, Has Any Clicked Links, and Is Unsubscribed.
