Stripe's card account updater works with all major card networks to update your donors’ expired or renewed card numbers automatically—including American Express cards—to reduce failed payments and customer friction.
Stripe identifies fraudulent activity as online donation forms are being submitted. You will be given options to review or automatically block fraudulent activity before it affects your donor database or bank account.
You must be an administrator to update your Stripe processor for free credit card updates and better fraud prevention.
To update your Stripe processor:
Click Settings.
Click Payments.
On the Payment Settings tab, in the Other Processors section, select your Stripe processor.
Click Connect with Stripe.
Click Sign in with Stripe to connect.
Review your account details, as needed, then click Authorize access to this account.
