Use Zapier to Connect Third-party apps to Bloomerang Fundraising
Transfer data to and from third-party apps using the Zapier integration for Bloomerang Fundraising
Our integration with Zapier is available for clients who've added Giving Essentials, Giving+, or Premium Fundraising Suite. If you're interested in adding this package to gain access to Zapier (and lots of other amazing features!), send our Customer Experience Team an email or head over to the Plans and Pricing page in your Bloomerang Fundraising account.
Requirements
To connect third-party apps to Bloomerang Fundraising with Zapier, you must have an existing Zapier account. We recommend using a Zapier account connected to your organization rather than connected to a single individual.
Generating an API Token in Bloomerang Fundraising
Before getting started in Zapier, you’ll need to generate an API token in your Bloomerang Fundraising control panel in order to connect the two programs. You must have permission set up to manage API keys on your Bloomerang Fundraising account in order to do this.
To generate the API token:
In the control panel, click Data Tools.
Click API Access.
Click Create API Token.
Name your token.
Select Permanent as the token type and choose which forms you intend to connect.
Important: We recommend limiting your API keys to a single form - adding more than one form per key increases the chance that some transactions may not trigger properly once connected.
6. Click Add New Token to save your work.
