The European Union (EU) General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) took effect on May 25, 2018. This means that EU constituents must explicitly opt in to receiving communications from your organization.
To view a list of your Bloomerang CRM constituents with an EU address:
Click Reports.
Click New Report.
Click Constituent.
Select a constituent-type report template:
To create a report that focuses on constituent profile information, such as address and email, click the Constituent - Profile Starter (Start from Scratch) constituent report.
To create a report that focuses on constituent transaction information, such as Last Fiscal Year Revenue and Latest Transaction Date, click the Constituent - Transaction Starter (Start from Scratch) report.
Click Start Report.
In the Include section, click Add Filter.
Search for and select Has Addresses.
From the Records list, select Specific Addresses.
In the Has Addresses filter, in the Include section, click Add Filter.
Search for and select Country.
From the Values list, select the following EU member countries:
Austria
Belgium
Bulgaria
Croatia
Cyprus
Czech Republic
Denmark
Estonia
Finland
France
Germany
Greece
Hungary
Ireland
Italy
Latvia
Lithuania
Luxembourg
Malta
Netherlands
Poland
Portugal
Romania
Slovakia
Slovenia
Spain
Sweden
Click Apply.
Click Apply again.
Click Columns.
Add these columns:
Communication Restrictions
Email Interest Type. This shows either All, Custom, or Opted Out.
Email Interests. This shows all email interests each constituent is subscribed to.
Click Apply.
Click Save.
If you would like to contact these constituents to update their communication preferences, you can reference this report in letters and emails.
