If you set up an event in Bloomerang Fundraising, but your attendees can’t register, follow the troubleshooting tips in this article.
This article helps you fix these issues:
An event doesn’t appear on your Bloomerang Fundraising form
The event is closed
The event is sold out
Buttons aren’t working on an embedded registration form
Why doesn’t my event appear on my donation form? Why is my event closed?
Setting | Troubleshooting Steps |
Event status | Make sure the Event is Active toggle is turned on so attendees can register. |
Event start and end dates | If the event has start and end dates:
|
Registration cutoff date | If the event has a registration cutoff date:
|
Package status |
|
Package start and end dates | Make sure the package start and end dates are correct. Packages have their own date settings.
For example, if you extend the event start date, make sure to also extend the package start date. |
Registration links | You can make an event private, and you can also make packages in that event private.
|
Why is my event sold out when the package limit is unlimited?
The event registration limits, not the package limits, control whether the event sells out. When the event registration limit is reached, the event sells out even if packages are still available.
Check the event registration limits and adjust those as needed.
Why aren’t buttons working on my embedded registration form?
Make sure to copy the embed form code directly from Bloomerang Fundraising.
To copy the embed form code:
Click Fundraising.
Select Embed.
Click the event registration form widget.
In the Copy and paste the following code… section, copy all of that code.

On your website, paste the code where you want the registration form to appear. You can include the code in an iFrame.
