Reporting: Introduction and Navigation

Use the Reporting area to find the report you need, filter it to answer a specific question, and then review and act on the results.

Find a report, filter results, and work with transactions

  1. In Bloomerang Fundraising, click Reporting.

  2. On the Reporting page, find the report that you want to view. Click View Report on the report’s tile. You can use the search bar to search for a specific report.

  3. In the report, use the search field to find specific transactions. You can search by a donor name or transaction ID.

    1. To search for multiple names, separate the names with commas.

    2. To search for transactions in a range of transaction IDs, separate the transaction IDs with a hyphen (-).

  4. (Optional) Narrow the results using advanced filters:

    1. Select Advanced Filtering.

    2. Select the filter types you want to apply.

    3. Choose values for each filter you added.

    4. If you have a large number of forms or events, use the drop-down menu that appears instead of buttons.

  5. To set the time period you want to report on, click the Range drop-down and choose a preset time period, or enter custom dates.

  6. To view more detail about a transaction, click the transaction ID.

    1. To edit transaction details, click Edit.

    2. Click Save to save your changes. The button text may vary depending on what you updated.

  7. To clear your criteria and run a new report, click Reset Filters.

  8. (Optional) To save your current search and filters as a custom report, follow the steps in Custom Reports.

Note: You may or may not see all Reporting options, depending on which products you’re using.
