Bloomerang Fundraising’s Salesforce integration can be configured for Big Brothers Big Sisters users who use Matchforce. This article explains how to set up the Salesforce integration to work with Matchforce.
Getting Started
Before you begin, you’ll need your Agency ID and Agency Location ID.
You can find your Agency ID by searching for your account name and clicking on the record that has an “Account Record Type” of “Agency.”
Once you click into that record, you’ll see the Agency ID in the URL for the page. Copy the string that appears after /Account/.
Next, find the Agency Location ID by clicking into the View Account Hierarchy button next to the account name.
You can then choose which Agency Location you wish to use by clicking on the record and copying the string in the URL of the resulting page.
Activating the Salesforce Integration in Bloomerang Fundraising
To integrate your Salesforce account with Bloomerang Fundraising, click the Integrations link in the left-hand navigation of your organization’s Bloomerang Fundraising control panel.
Locate the Salesforce tile and click Connect.
In the Environment drop-down, choose your Salesforce server type: Production, Development, or Sandbox. In most cases, you'll select Production.
Click Connect.
You'll be directed to the Salesforce login screen. On this screen, click the Use Custom Domain link.
When asked to enter your Custom Domain, enter bbbsa.
You will be redirected to Okta to complete your sign-in.
Please note: If you have not already signed in to Okta, you may need to do so. Two-factor authentication will be required.
Once you've completed sign-in, you'll see an activation confirmation message at the top of the screen in your Bloomerang Fundraising account.
You'll be taken to a page where you can configure your settings.
