Integration Mapping Warnings

Updated over 2 weeks ago

If one of your integration’s optional mappings becomes invalid, you’ll see a warning in the mapping settings. This article explains what warnings you might see and how you can fix the mapping to dismiss the warning.

When you visit the Mappings tab in your integration’s settings, you may see an alert icon, indicating there is a warning.

You can also filter your mappings to display only those with warnings.

Hovering over the icon will display the warning message.

There are two possible formats for warning messages you might receive:

Resolution

We could not find a {service} {object} with the saved value. You may want to modify or delete this mapping.

A mapped value was not found at the service. Edit the mapping and verify the mapping selections.

The {Bloomerang Fundraising object} is {status}. You may want to modify or delete this mapping.

The mapped value is not in an active status in Bloomerang Fundraising. If there is nothing further to export, this mapping can be deleted.

Warning message #1:

“We could not find a {service} {object} with the saved value. You may want to modify or delete this mapping.””

“{service}” indicates the name of the integration you’re using, and “{object}” is a value that exists on the integration side. In other words, if you’re mapping something from Bloomerang Fundraising to a specific location in the integration, but that location no longer exists, you’ll need to edit the mapping to direct to a place that exists on the integration side. You can also delete the mapping if you no longer need to export the data.

Warning message #2:

“The {Bloomerang Fundraising object} is {status}. You may want to modify or delete this mapping.””

“{Bloomerang Fundraising object} refers to the data on the Bloomerang Fundraising side that you’re trying to map to your integration, such as a form, event, or restriction. The “{status}” is that piece of data’s current status in Bloomerang Fundraising. For example, a form could be “closed” or a restriction could be “inactive.” If your exports are current and you do not have associated recurring transactions, it may be safe to delete this mapping. Alternatively, you can edit the mapping to map to an active {Bloomerang Fundraising object}.”
