After a volunteer commits to a group, they cannot remove themselves from the group. To be removed from a group, the volunteer must contact the organization manager to do it for them.
In an opportunity, you can remove volunteers from account-based groups individually or through bulk actions.
Remove Volunteers with Bulk Actions
For account-based groups, you can remove volunteers from an opportunity in bulk.
Note: Volunteers can only be part of one group at a time. If a volunteer is already in a group, taking this bulk action does not change their current group. To change a volunteer's group, you must remove the volunteer from the group first.
