Organization and Opportunity Managers can create an unlimited number of groups from within an opportunity. Organization and event managers can create account-based groups and number-based groups. Each group must have a Group Leader and a unique Group Title.
To create a group:
In an opportunity, click Groups.
On the Groups page, click + Groups.
Enter a unique Group Name.
Click + Group Leader to select a group leader. Volunteers that are already group leaders do not appear in this list.
Select a group type.
Click Create Group.
Note: If the opportunity manager enables the Group Registration Questions option, each volunteer can create one group during the opportunity signup process. For more information, read Set Up Recruitment for an Opportunity.
