Add Bloomerang Forms to Your Website

Updated this week

Add forms to your website to collect information, fundraise, and sign up members online. Information from forms appears automatically in Bloomerang CRM.

When you create a form, Bloomerang CRM generates a small piece of code known as a code snippet. When you add the code snippet to your website, the form appears on your website.

This article explains how to embed a standard form on your website. If you prefer to customize your form, you can create a custom self-hosted form.

Note: If you don't have a website, you can link to a secure version of the form that we host for you. For information about how to get that link, read How do I get the link of the Bloomerang-hosted form?

Get the Snippet

First, copy the code snippet for the form:

  1. In Bloomerang CRM, click Communications.

  2. Click Forms.

  3. Select a tile.

  4. Click a form.

  5. Click Save and Preview.

  6. Click Next.

  7. Copy the code snippet that appears.

Embed the Snippet in Your Website

Next, embed the code snippet you copied from Bloomerang CRM into your website. The steps you must follow to embed the code snippet vary for each website management platform. Make sure to follow the instructions provided by your website management platform.

Working with Donation or Event Registration Forms

If the form you are adding to your website is an Online Giving Form or an Event Registration Form, you must add a transaction processor and fraud prevention in Bloomerang CRM to fully enable the form on your website. For more information, view Get Started with Online Giving.

Working with Membership Forms

To use online membership forms that you create in Bloomerang CRM, you must enable Bloomerang Payments.

Note: You can’t create a custom self-hosted membership form in Bloomerang CRM.
