Bloomerang CRM Mobile App | Add and Manage Tasks

Add tasks to track your organization's to-do items. In the mobile app, you can add a task to a constituent's timeline and assign it to yourself or another Bloomerang CRM user.

For each task, you select a purpose and channel:

  • Purpose — Acknowledgement, impact/cultivation, newsletter, pledge reminder, receipt, solicitation, special event, volunteer activity, welcome, or other

  • Task Channels — Email, video email, in-person, mail, mass email, phone, social media, text message, video call, webinar, website, or other

Add Tasks

To add tasks:

  1. Tap the action button Action button.

  2. Tap Timeline Entry.

  3. Tap Task.

  4. Enter the constituent’s name.

  5. Tap the constituent’s name to open the constituent’s profile.

  6. Select the Assignee.

  7. Enter the Subject.

  8. Select the Due Date.

  9. Select the Purpose.

  10. Select the Channel.

  11. (Optional) Enter Notes.

  12. (Optional) To add an image attachment:

    1. Click Add Attachment.

    2. Click Add File

    3. Tap a .JPG or .PNG that is 10MB or less in size.

  13. (Optional) To add a website link:

    1. Click Add Attachment.

    2. Click Link to Web.

    3. Enter the Web Address (the URL) and the Display Name.

    4. Click Save.

  14. Tap the Save checkmark at the top right. The task appears on the constituent’s timeline. To view the task, tap it.

View Tasks and Contact Constituents from Tasks

View a list of all tasks assigned to you, grouped by status:

  • Due Today

  • Due Later

  • Overdue

To view your task list:

  1. Tap Tasks. A list of tasks appear.

  2. To open a task, tap it.

  3. To contact the constituent, tap the Quick Communication button bd_mobile_quick_ communications_button.png. The Channel selected for that task determines whether a phone, text, or email option appears.

  4. After you contact the constituent, the mobile app asks you whether to create an interaction. Tap No or Yes.

Complete Tasks

To mark a task as complete:

  1. Tap Constituents.

  2. Search for the constituent.

  3. Tap the constituent’s name.

  4. On the timeline, tap the task.

  5. Tap Complete Task.

  6. Tap one of these:

    1. Complete Task

    2. Complete and Make Follow-Up. A new task appears.

  7. If you tapped Complete and Make Follow-Up, enter and save the new follow-up task.

Edit or Delete Tasks

To edit or delete a task:

  1. Tap Constituents.

  2. Search for the constituent.

  3. Tap the constituent’s name.

  4. On the timeline, tap the task.

  5. To edit or delete the task, tap the Edit Task pencil icon at the top right.

  6. To delete the task, go to the end of the task and tap Delete.

View, Edit, or Remove Task Attachments

To view, edit, or delete attachments in tasks:

  1. Tap Constituents.

  2. Search for the constituent.

  3. Tap the constituent’s name.

  4. On the timeline, tap the task.

  5. Tap the attachment.

  6. To view the attachment, tap View.

  7. To change the display name:

    1. Tap Edit.

    2. Tap the Display Name and then tap the X symbol.

    3. Enter a new Display Name.

    4. Tap Save.

  8. To remove the attachment, tap Remove > Yes.

  9. Tap the Save check mark at the top right.
