User permissions control what users can do in the Bloomerang CRM mobile app.
Bloomerang CRM has two types of user accounts:
Admin — Full access to everything in both the web and mobile versions of Bloomerang CRM
Standard — Limited access, which admins can customize
For security reasons, you might want to limit what certain users can do in Bloomerang CRM.
For example, you might have volunteers who enter donations at your events. For each volunteer, create a standard user and select the View and edit only transactions created by this user permission. Volunteers with this permission cannot view other other transactions or transaction-related information and settings. This means they cannot view or change sensitive financial and personal information about your donors.
Configure User Permissions
The mobile app uses the permissions you configure in the Bloomerang CRM web application.
Some permissions limit what users can see and do in the mobile app. For information about user permissions, how they affect the mobile app, and how to configure permissions, view User Permissions.
Important: Make sure your staff and volunteers upgrade to the most recent version of the Bloomerang CRM mobile app. In old versions of the mobile app (v23.11.3 and lower), user permissions do not apply to the mobile app, which means mobile app users with old app versions have unrestricted permissions.
