About Recurring Donations

Recurring donations are repeated donations that are given indefinitely on a regular schedule. They aren't used when a constituent promises to give you a fixed amount of money on a certain date (or dates). In that case, you create a pledge.

They are also not used for one-time gifts; enter a donation instead.

When you create a recurring donation, a recurring donation schedule, or list of installments, is also created. Add recurring donation payments, view the schedule, and set an end date if necessary.

Recurring donations appear on the timeline and are labeled as Recurring Donation Schedule. A payment made toward the recurring donation is labeled as Recurring Donation Payment.Recurring donation schedule and payment on the timeline
