Create a Donation in Bloomerang CRM when a New Order is Created in Eventbrite

Zapier enables you to connect Bloomerang CRM to your Eventbrite account to receive registrant information from your paid and free events. With this template, a new or existing constituent in Bloomerang CRM will receive a Donation entry on their timeline whenever a new attendee registers for a paid event in Eventbrite.

To Set This up in Zapier

  1. Locate the template you would like to use, and click Use this Zap. You will be prompted to log in to your Zapier account.

  2. Review the template's prebuilt settings and customize, as needed.

Step 1. New Order in Eventbrite

Choose App & Event. This information is prefilled based on the chosen template.

Choose Account. Select your Eventbrite account, then click Continue.

Customize Attendee. Select your Eventbrite organization, Event Status, & Event. If you’d like this zap to work for any Event, leave the Event field blank. Click Continue.

Find Data. Select a sample transaction to test with, then click Done Editing.

Step 2. Only Continue If...

Tip: This step filters for amounts greater than .01.

Choose App & Event. This information is prefilled based on the chosen template.

Filter Setup & Testing. This information is prefilled based on the chosen template, however, if you’d like to filter what comes into Bloomerang CRM based on a different amount, you can do that here.

Step 3. Find or Create Constituent in Bloomerang CRM

Choose App & Event. This information is prefilled based on the chosen template.

Choose Account. Choose your Bloomerang CRM Account, then click Continue.

Customize Constituent. Constituent name and contact information is prefilled based on the chosen template, however, additional data can be added if desired.

Send Data.

  1. Click Test & Review.

  2. Check to see if Zapier found your existing constituent, or, head to Bloomerang CRM to see the new constituent.

  3. Adjust your set up, as needed, then click Done Editing.

Step 4. Create Donation in Bloomerang CRM

Choose App & Event. This information is prefilled based on the chosen template.

Choose Account. Choose your Bloomerang CRM Account, then click Continue.

Customize Donation.

  1. Under Amount, select the Eventbrite Costs Gross Major Value field.

  2. Under Fund, select your preferred Bloomerang CRM Fund, and click Continue.

  3. Under Campaign, select your preferred Bloomerang CRM Campaign, and click Continue.

  4. Under Appeal, select your preferred Bloomerang CRM Appeal and click Continue.

  5. Under Note, enter the description of your event.

Send Data.

  1. Click Test & Review.

  2. Check Bloomerang CRM to see the sample donation.

  3. Adjust your set up, as needed, then click Done Editing.

  4. Zapier lets you know when it thinks your zap is ready. Click the toggle button to turn on your zap and start receiving Eventbrite donation data in Bloomerang CRM.
