Bloomerang CRM Mobile App | Add and Manage Interactions

Use interactions to track why, how, and when you communicate with donors.

You can add interactions to a constituent’s timeline. In each interaction, you select a purpose and channel (how the interaction happened):

  • Purposes — Acknowledgement, impact/cultivation, newsletter, pledge reminder, receipt, solicitation, special event, volunteer activity, welcome, or other

  • Channels — Email, in-person, mail, mass email, phone, social media, text message, video call, webinar, website, or other

Note: To link an acknowledgement interaction to transaction or soft credit, use the Bloomerang CRM web application.

Add Interactions

To add interactions:

  1. In the Bloomerang CRM mobile app, tap the action button quick-access-button-icon.png.

  2. Tap Timeline Entry.

  3. Tap Interaction.

  4. Enter the constituent’s name.

  5. Tap the constituent’s name to open the constituent’s profile.

  6. Enter a Subject.

  7. Select the Date the interaction happened.

  8. Select a Purpose.

  9. Select a Channel.

  10. (Optional) Select whether the constituent initiated this interaction.

  11. (Optional) Enter Notes.

  12. (Optional) If you have custom field options, select those options.

  13. (Optional) To attach an image:

    1. Click Add Attachment.

    2. Click Add File

    3. Tap a .JPG or .PNG that is 10MB or less in size.

    4. To edit the Display Name, tap the image and then tap Edit.

    5. Tap Save.

  14. (Optional) To attach a website link:

    1. Click Add Attachment.

    2. Click Link to Web.

    3. Enter the Web Address (URL) and the Display Name.

    4. Click Save.

  15. Tap the Save checkmark at the top right.The interaction appears on the constituent’s timeline. To view the interaction, tap it.

View, Edit, or Delete Interactions

To view, edit, or delete interactions:

  1. In the Bloomerang CRM mobile app, tap Constituents.

  2. Search for the constituent.

  3. Tap the constituent’s name.

  4. On the timeline, tap the interaction.

  5. To edit or delete the interaction, tap the Edit Note pencil icon at the top right.

  6. To delete the note, go to the end of the interaction and tap Delete.

View, Edit, or Remove Interaction Attachments

To view, edit, or delete attachments in notes:

  1. In the Bloomerang CRM mobile app, tap Constituents.

  2. Search for the constituent.

  3. Tap the constituent’s name.

  4. On the timeline, tap the interaction.

  5. Tap the attachment.

  6. To view the attachment, tap View.

  7. To change the display name:

    1. Tap Edit.

    2. Tap the Display Name and then tap the X symbol.

    3. Enter a new Display Name.

    4. Tap Save.

  8. To remove the attachment, tap Remove > Yes.
