Aplos is fund-based accounting software designed for nonprofits. It keeps all your accounting information in order. Bloomerang CRM records all your constituent information, including who gave what and when.
This is a one-way sync from Bloomerang CRM to Aplos. Bloomerang CRM is the system of record (the authoritative data source).

How the Integration Works
Bloomerang CRM sends transactions to Aplos if the transaction date is on or after the date your Aplos integration was set up.
Bloomerang CRM sends these new transactions to Aplos:
Donations
Pledge payments
Recurring donation payments
Refunds (donation, pledge payment, or recurring donation payment)
Note: Bloomerang CRM does not add these transactions if the payment method is In Kind. If you change a transaction payment method to In Kind after it syncs with Aplos, you must remove the transaction from Aplos manually.
For each transaction, Bloomerang CRM sends this information to Aplos:
Date of transaction
Amount
Fund
Method
Check number
Constituent type
Type of transaction (donation, pledge payment, recurring donation payment, refund)
Bloomerang CRM sends transactions to Aplos when they are:
Entered manually
Imported
Submitted through online forms
Added from other integrations, such as Bloomerang Fundraising (formerly Qgiv)
Bloomerang CRM transactions are added as "Bloomerang Individual" or "Bloomerang Organization" contributions in Aplos. Individual names are not recorded because Aplos is not designed to track constituent information.
The first time a fund is sent with a transaction, Aplos creates a purpose and links it to the Bloomerang CRM fund. Do not disable or edit Bloomerang-linked purposes in Aplos.
Tip: To view your Bloomerang CRM transactions in Aplos Accounting, you must map your purposes in Aplos. For more information, view Link Your Partner Purposes. Contact Aplos Support for assistance.
Changing Information
Bloomerang CRM is the authoritative source for information. If the Bloomerang and Aplos information do not match, the Bloomerang information wins.
Warning: Do not change the contribution or purpose information in Aplos if it came from Bloomerang CRM. Changing Aplos information does not change the information in Bloomerang CRM. To avoid mismatches or misleading information, always manage your Bloomerang CRM transaction information in Bloomerang CRM.
Other information may be added in Aplos, such as an NTD amount. If you save a linked transaction in Bloomerang CRM, the Aplos information is updated. This also removes any extra information that was recorded in Aplos.
