Your donors can help cover transaction fees when they donate or register:
Online forms — To show donors an option to help cover transaction fees, you must first turn on True Impact. The True Impact amount is calculated based on current payment processing fees.
Manually entered donations — For donations you enter directly in Bloomerang CRM, you can manually calculate the approximate fee and add it to the donation amount.
Note: True Impact is not available for membership forms.
Enable True Impact for Forms
You can turn on the True Impact option for these Bloomerang CRM forms:
You must turn on True Impact in the settings for each form.
After you turn on True Impact for a form, donors can select to cover fees when they fill out that form. The fee appears after the amount, and it's also included in the total amount on the Donate Now or Register Now button.
Manually Entered Donations
If you manually enter a donation in Bloomerang CRM, and the donor wants to help cover transaction fees:
Calculate the processing fee based on this table.
Add the fee to the donation amount.
