How do I create emails with Personalization Fields?

Updated this week

Personalization fields allow you to insert placeholders into your emails, which will automatically be filled in with information specific to the recipient, opportunity, or organization. For example, you can insert placeholders for the recipient’s first name, last name, phone number, email, your organization name, the opportunity name, and more.

To create emails with personalization fields, do the following:

  1. Navigate to either an email template or a custom email.

  2. Place the cursor where you would like to insert the personalization field.

  3. Click Personalize to view a list of available personalization fields.

  4. Select a personalization field to insert it at the cursor location.

Once you've utilized the Personalization Fields to fit the needs of your email, you can save the email as a template to re-use without having to re-write the email and insert the fields. Saving the email as a template automatically saves your Personalization Fields for you.
