Remove a Volunteer from an Opportunity at the Organization Level

Organization managers can remove volunteers from opportunities at the organization level by using the volunteer list or a volunteer’s profile.

Remove a Volunteer from Opportunities Using the Profile Screen

To use a volunteer’s profile to remove them from opportunities:

  1. If you are in more than one organization, make sure you are in the right one.

  2. From the navigation menu, click People, and then click Volunteers.

  3. On the volunteer list, click a volunteer to go to their profile.

  4. On the volunteer profile, click Opportunities.

  5. Hover over an opportunity, then click Actions.

  6. Click Remove Volunteer From Opportunity.

  7. On the Remove From Opportunity screen, type “REMOVE”, then click Remove.

  8. Repeat steps 4 through 6 for any other opportunities that you would like to remove the volunteer from.

Remove One or More Volunteers from Opportunities Using the Volunteer List

To remove one or more users from opportunities by using the volunteer list:

  1. If you are in more than one organization, make sure you are in the right one.

  2. From the navigation menu, click People, and then click Volunteers.

  3. On the volunteer list, click the checkbox next to one or more volunteers to select them.

  4. Click Take Action Take Action checkbox icon..

  5. Hover over Opportunities, and then click Remove Volunteers from Opportunities.

  6. On the Remove Volunteers From Opportunities screen, select a time period, then use the drop-down list to select an opportunity.

  7. Click Remove.

  8. On the Remove From Opportunity screen, type REMOVE and the number of volunteers that you selected, then click Remove.

  9. Repeat Steps 3 through 8 for any other opportunities that you would like to remove the volunteers from.

Note: Removing a volunteer from an opportunity using the volunteer list also removes the volunteer from any roles and shifts they may have within that specific Opportunity.
