How can I see a user's schedule as a read-only Manager?

As a read-only full organization manager, you can view volunteer schedules from either the organization or opportunity levels.

View Volunteer Schedules from the Opportunity Level

From within an opportunity, you can view a volunteer’s schedule in several ways.

  1. If you are in more than one organization, make sure you are in the right one.

  2. From the navigation menu, click Opportunities.

  3. Select an opportunity, or use the search box to find and select an opportunity.

  4. Do one of the following:

    • To view the schedule from the Volunteers page:

      1. In the opportunity menu, click People, and then click Volunteers.

      2. Select the volunteer’s name.

      3. In the volunteer’s profile, click Schedule.

    • To view the schedule from the Shifts page:

      1. In the opportunity menu, click Schedule, and then click Shifts.

      2. In the search box, search for the volunteer’s name. The Shifts table shows all of the shift roles that the volunteer is scheduled for.

View Volunteer Schedules from the Organization Level

To view a volunteer’s schedule from the organization level, do the following:

  1. If you are in more than one organization, make sure you are in the right one.

  2. From the navigation menu, click People, and then click Volunteers.

  3. Select one or more volunteers.

  4. Click Take Action Take Action checkbox icon..

  5. Hover over Send, then click Message.

  6. Place your cursor in the body of the email where you want to insert the schedule.

  7. Click Insert Schedule.

  8. In the Insert Schedule window, configure the schedule information.

    1. In the Timeline section, select a range of shifts.

    2. In the Opportunities section, select Yes to filter the schedule information by opportunity, or No to include all schedule information for the recipient(s) across all opportunities. If you select Yes, select up to 5 opportunities from the list that opens. You can filter the list of opportunities by clicking an option in the All Opportunities drop-down list.

    3. In the Shift Details section, select up to 25 columns for the chart.

    4. Click Insert.

  9. Click Preview to see what the schedule chart will look like.

  10. When you are finished, click Done.
