Bloomerang Payments: Change the Mobile Phone Number for Stripe Authentication

Updated this week

When you set up Bloomerang Payments, you entered a mobile phone number for Stripe authentication. To manage your Bloomerang Payments account in Bloomerang CRM, you’re sometimes prompted to sign in through Stripe authentication. To authenticate you, Stripe texts a code to the mobile phone number associated with your Bloomerang Payments account.

If you don’t have access to that mobile phone number, you can change it.

To change the mobile phone number for Stripe Authentication:

  1. In Bloomerang CRM, click Payments.

  2. Select Payments Home.

  3. Click Settings.

  4. Select Account Management.

  5. If you don’t see the Sign In to See Details button, you must do one of the following:

    • Clear your browser's cache. To make sure all of your browsing data is removed, select to remove all past data. If you're not sure how, follow the instructions for your web browser: Google Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Firefox.

    • Use a different web browser temporarily, just to complete the following steps.

  6. Click Sign In to See Details.

  10. Stripe emails a six-digit code to the email address associated with this Bloomerang Payments account. If this code doesn’t appear in your email inbox, check your spam or junk folder.

  11. In Bloomerang CRM, enter the six-digit code.

  12. Enter your new mobile phone number.
