Tags pull information from form fields and place it in system emails to your peer-to-peer donors, registrants, and team members/captains.

Tags appear in the following format while you are editing: %yourinfohere%. Tags will populate with information from the actual transaction when the system email gets sent out. There are many different tags you can use to further personalize your peer-to-peer system emails. The following is a glossary of available tags.

Important: Tags will not populate when you send a test to yourself because there is no actual transaction information to pull. If you'd like to test your tags with real information, try running a $1.00 test donation!

Donor Tags

  • Donation Amount %DonationAmount% - Displays the amount donated.

  • Gift Assist Cost %GiftAssistCost% - Displays the additional amount charged to donors to cover some of the nonprofit's transaction fees.

  • Donation Date %DonationDate% - Displays the date the donation was made.

  • Donation Restriction %DonationRestriction% - Displays the restriction the donation should be applied to.

  • Donor First Name %DonorFirstName% - Displays the donor's first name.

  • Donor Last Name %DonorLastName% - Displays the donor's last name.

  • Donor Name %DonorName% - Displays the donor's full name.

  • Donor Address %DonorAddress% - Displays the address provided by the donor.

  • Donor City %DonorCity% - Displays the donor's provided city.

  • Donor State %DonorState% - Displays the donor's provided state.

  • Donor Zip %DonorZip% - Displays the donor's provided zip code.

  • Donor Country %DonorCountry% - Displays the abbreviation of the donor's provided country.

  • Donor Company %DonorCompany% - Displays the name of the donor's company if one was provided.

  • Donor Phone %DonorPhone% - Displays the donor's provided phone number.

  • Donor Email %DonorEmail% - Displays the donor's provided email address.

  • Dedication %Dedication% - This tag displays all dedication information for a dedicated donation: the dedication name and text. (For example: In honor of John Doe)

  • Dedication Name %DedicationName% - This field displays selected dedication option if provided. (In honor of, in memory of, etc.)

  • Dedication Text %DedicationText% - Displays the text entered by the person making the dedicated donation (usually it is the person to whom the gift is dedicated)

Registrant Tags

  • Registration ID %RegistrationID% - Displays the unique ID number of the event registration.

  • Registration Status %RegistrationStatus% - Displays the status of the participant's account.

  • Registration Donation %RegistrationDonation% - Displays the amount of any one-time donation made during the event registration if one was made.

  • Registration Purchase Amount %RegistrationStoreAmount% - Displays the total cost of additional event store purchases.

  • Registration Cost %RegistrationCost% - Displays the cost of the event registration.

  • Registration Total %RegistrationTotal% - Displays the total cost of the registration.

  • Registration Amount %RegistrationAmount% - Displays the individual amount of the registration.

  • Parent Email Address %LeadRegistrantEmail% - Displays the email address of the main event registrant.

  • Registration Link for Invited Participants %InvitedParticipantRegistrationLink% - Displays a unique link for each invited participant to register for the event. Invited participants are those you've added to the event using the Participant Invite Tool.

Team Tags

  • Team Name %TeamName% - Displays the team name.

  • Team Fundraising Goal %TeamFundraisingGoal% - Displays the fundraising goal for the team.

  • Team Fundraising Page %TeamFundraisingPage% - Displays a link to the team's fundraising page.

  • Team Donation Page %TeamDonationPage% - Displays the shareable link to the fundraising team's donation page.

  • Team Registration Page %TeamRegistrationPage% - Displays the shareable link to the fundraising team's registration page.

  • Team Text Giving %TeamTextGivingCode% - Displays the shareable text giving code for the fundraising team.

  • Team Leader Name %TeamLeaderName% - Displays the name of the team leader.

Organization Tags

  • Organization Name %OrganizationName% - Displays the name of the nonprofit organization.

  • Organization Website %OrganizationWebsite% - Displays the link to the nonprofit organization's website.

Product Tags

  • Product Purchase %PurchaseDetails% - Displays the details of products purchased from the event shop.

Recurring Tags

  • Recurring ID %RecID% - Displays a unique ID number that helps identify a donor's specific recurring donation.

  • Recurring Start Date %StartDate% - Displays when recurring donations will start being made.

  • Recurring End Date %EndDate% - Displays the date the recurring donation will end.

  • Recurring Frequency %Time% - Displays whether the donation is a one-time gift or will recur on a weekly or monthly basis.

  • Next Bill %NextBill% - Displays the date of the next recurring donation payment. This field helps show recurring donors when they can expect the next transaction to take place.

  • Paid Recurring Donation Balance %TotalPaymentProcessed% Displays the balance of the payments already processed for the recurring gift pledge.

  • Recurring Remaining Balance %TotalPaymentRemaining% - Displays the total remaining balance of the recurring gift pledge that still hasn't been billed for and paid yet.

  • Recurring Total %TotalPayment% - Displays the total sum of the recurring gifts that are to be made in the gift's specified timeframe.

  • Recurring Decline Reason %DeclineReason% - This field provides a reason for a donor's gift having been declined.

  • Recurring Summary Page %RecurringSummaryLink% - Populates a link to the recurring summary page.

Transaction Tags

  • Payment Type %PaymentType% - Displays if the transaction was an eCheck or Credit Card Transaction.

  • Payment Amount %PaymentAmount% - Displays the amount paid.

  • Payment Last Four %PaymentLastFour% - Displays the last four digits of the card used for the transaction.

  • Transaction Status %TransactionStatus% - Displays the status of the transaction.

  • Transaction ID %TransactionID% - Displays a unique ID number for the transaction.

  • Transaction Date %TransactionDate% - Displays the date of the transaction.

  • Transaction Name %TransactionName% - Displays the name of the donor.

  • Transaction Address %TransactionAddress% - Displays the address provided by the donor.

  • Transaction City %TransactionCity% - Displays the city provided by the donor.

  • Transaction State %TransactionState% - Displays the state provided by the donor.

  • Transaction Zip %TransactionZip% - Displays the zip code provided by the donor.

  • Billing Name %BillingName% - Displays the name of the account holder associated with the account being billed.

  • Billing Address %BillingAddress% - Displays the address associated with the account being billed.

  • Billing City %BillingCity% - Displays the city associated with the account being billed.

  • Billing State %BillingState% - Displays the state associated with the account being billed.

  • Billing Zip %BillingZip% - Displays the zip code associated with the account being billed.

  • Billing Country %BillingCountry% - Displays an abbreviated form of the country associated with the account being billed.

  • Transaction Company %TransactionCompany% - Displays the company name associated with the transaction.

  • Transaction Source %TransactionSource% - Displays the source of the transaction.

  • Fulfillment Link %FulfillmentLink% - Displays the URL to the form donors can visit to pay their invoice.

  • Total Invoice Amount %InvoiceBalance% - Displays the total invoice amount.

  • Remaining Balance %RemainingBalance% Displays the amount remaining to be paid on the invoice.
